I've used better optics but for the price it's hard to beat. For someone with poor vision, it's great for quick identification while hunting. Very well built, nice tight focus, and adjustable eyecup is great for when you wear sunglasses Kinda in a class of its own when you consider price warranty and construction. Might need one on a duck call lanyard as well. All in all very happy with it. Good

well made, compact monocular - it's a very nice, useful piece of gear for many uses. I have used it so far to observe deer and turkeys in my yard, but will definitely be using it for hunting this year. Has a nice, clear image for the price, and will easily pack in a pocket.

In the last month I have actually gotten two of these. No, I do not use them at the same time like binoculars! I received one in a subscription box and one from a friend as a Christmas gift. There is so much utility for these I kept both. Gave one to my son who competes in target archery. Works great for checking shots from the line!

I work outdoors and the convenience of having this on my hip when I am unable to carry binos can't be beat. I've looked through this and the 10×25 side by side and the clarity is much better for this one. The focus ring on mine is a little too snug for my taste, basically preventing one handed use in most circumstances.

I have owned mine for 4 years now and it has held up great. Rides in the jeep year round for easy access. fits in easily with all me gear. Very durable, been dropped on many occasions. Nice clear image.

Got this for shed hunting/general hiking where I didn't want to have a harness on. Straps well to a backpack strap. Works well one-handed, slight changes for use with one hand are noticeable.

I bought this product a few months ago, and have been using it for shed hunting along with some simple glassing for deer and pronghorn. This Monocular is perfect for every sort of use. Along with shed hunting and glassing I've been using this product when I go hiking. It does an excellent job giving a clear picture of whatever you are looking at. There have been zero issues with the lens fogging up, and I've even dropped it and its held up! I've been extremely impressed with this product! I have a hard time with binoculars due to an eye problem, so having a monocular that is a quality piece of gear is great. In the PNW fogging and water damage is a bit problem, but I have had no issues with the Vortex solo. It is a tough little bugger. Tough enough I let my kids use it without worry. It is compact and light and works well in low light.

I keep this monocular in my truck so I always have an optic handy for quick use. I've taken it hunting, hiking, and even used it in a recent family trip to Disneyland, where a few other dads commented to me that they wish they had one! It is bright and easy to quickly find and focus on your subject. Being kept in my truck, I use it to see traffic conditions up the road (while I'm not moving, of course and other uses not related to hunting or field usage.

I bought this at the beginning of bow season to hunt Oklahoma whitetail. The solo is perfect for any hunter looking for a lightweight optic that doesn't take up much room. The glass is clear and for the price cant be beat. This was the first product i purchased from Vortex and the quality and warranty has made me a customer for life.
