Shopper : Picture is a mgm is this vortex brand?DOUG G : There are several dealers who show this picture and depict it as a Vortex SV-2. I looked at the Vortex home site and the Vortex is decidedly different. The one depicted on Adorama's site is the MGM switchview.v2. MGM is located in Idaho while Vortex is in Wisconsin.Pete B : It is made by Mike Gibson Manufacturering (MGM) for Vortex. I own this product for three of my scopes - all MGM, two made for Vortex. I know Mike and his son Travis and have shot with both of them. MGM only makes high quality products!DENNIS H : No mine was not Vortex.ROMMEL V : I received an SV-2 in a Vortex Optics packaging. I don't know what an mgm is.

Magnification Throw Lever
A little spendy for what it is, but the product itself is great. It does everything it is advertised to do, and is very useful when it comes to toggling magnification quickly. Some of the Viper PST scopes can have a stiff magnification ring. This makes it much easier and I put this on all my scopes. That being said, I wish that this was a standard feature for the PST lineup, considering it is for the newer Strike Eagles and everything else. I'm hoping Vortex considers that when/if/hopefully they release a new PST Gen III lineup.

Simple to install and preset the throw lever for where you want to begin the throw (up or down) for the magnification setting you desire in a hurry.

Magnify with ease
This is an excellent aid to ease the use of the magnification ring on vortex scopes. I love it on my razor 1-6 and razor 1-10

Ordered the wrong size. Emailed Vortex and they sent me the correct one same day. Fits like a glove, makes it easy to adjust magnification but it isn't too bulky. Great, simple, product.

Must have on your optics!
Love having these mounted on my optic for faster zoom transitions between targets. The quality is great and took all of 2 minutes to mount. Worth every penny to make the optic more shooter friendly. Works great and no complaints.

Helps manipulate my scope better. Excellent quality and customer service. There really isn't anything bad to say about it. Don't over tighten it and you'll be just fine.

The Switchview Throw Lever is easy to install and remains secure to the optic while in use. The throw level is to use once install and easily moves the optics dial.

Making My Scope Easier to Use
So glad I picked up this throw lever for my VIPER PST GEN 2 Scope. This solved the one issue I had with the scope over the past two years. The magnification twist is very smooth, but hard to do when you are in a hurry to throw some lead down range. This adapter makes it so much easier to adjust my scope without pulling my head away. I am looking forward to taking it out in the field this week.

Easy install
The part is very sleek and installs very easily. Love how it doesn't look like it's distracting and overly attention grabbing. Simple and very effective! Be sure to verify fitment though, I did order this for my PST-II but it turns out I needed the SV-5 model. Vortex made it so easy for me to fix my own mistake and did an even swap.

Vast improvement for an LPVO
I attached this to my Vortex Viper PST 1-6 gen II, and it makes a world of difference when quickly changing magnification to engage with longer-distance targets. I would recommend pairing this with scopes that have stiffer magnification dials like the PST. Easy to install, just don't over-tighten it.
