The Defender-XL is equipped with an Auto-Shutoff feature, which conserves battery life by automatically powering down the red dot after 10 minutes of inactivity. This feature can be easily engaged or disengaged by pressing and holding the up and down buttons for three seconds. When engaged, the brightness transitions from the lowest to the highest setting over three seconds, and vice versa when disengaged.
For added convenience, the Motion Activation feature ensures the red dot is ready when you are. When the auto-shutoff is active, the sight automatically powers on with movement, eliminating the need for manual activation. The Button Lockout mode prevents accidental adjustments, ensuring your settings remain consistent. Activate this mode by holding the "Up" button for three seconds, with visual confirmation provided by a brief blink of the dot.
The Defender-XL offers 12 brightness settings, including 10 for daylight and two for night vision, allowing you to customize visibility to your environment. Powered by a CR2032 battery, this red dot sight delivers an impressive battery life of up to 25,000 hours at setting six, ensuring long-lasting performance.
Precision is further enhanced with adjustable Elevation and Windage Turrets, each providing audible and tactile feedback with every click.
