No a good product
I am an elk and deer hunter ? climbing hills in thick brush is part of elk hunting in Montana? these caps kept sliding off and eventually lost one permanently ? snow got into objective ? you need to engineer scope covers similar to Leupold that screw into scoop and can handle tough hunting conditions on the snow

I love mine
I’ve had mine for just over a year. I don’t put it through crazy conditions but it has a great build quality and I don’t think it would have any issues. It looks great and is easy to install.

Good for the price.
I use these caps on all my scopes the only bad thing I can say about them is that when it’s below freezing they sometimes pop off when you go to flip the cap up. Other than that they are great and hard to beat price wise. Great product

Best lens covers
When comparing this one against any others the quality ,design and ruggedness of this pair will win by far. They can be tilted/folded in a forward(objective lens cover) or backward (exit front lens) over the scope giving you a clear line of sight of your pheriperal and allowing the shooter the clearly see the turret adjustments position without changing position from your favorite stock weld. I had used mines through out the years while cleaning the rifle and the took all kind of scratches from cleaning rods etc that could had landed on the lenses damaging the coating. They will protect the scope from developing mold from been exposed to rain .Great products for a great price and Vortex VIP replacement warranty.

Decent for the price
Bought these caps for a gen II PST I bought last year. They are (for the price) decent caps. I had that scope on a 300 wby and the recoil would move the caps all over and even make them come off. I wish vortex would make something similar to Leupold's alumina covers (they are nicer, but 2-3 x more expensive).
All being said, for the price I think they would be hard to beat! I would recommend them, even though I do not use them. Vortex, please make a higher/premium scope cap so I can buy them!

Necessary for keeping glass clean and dry
I use this scope cap on all my hunting rifles. Nothing like sitting down to take a shot and having crud on your scope (my buddies rifle whereas mine was completely clean. We had hiked through thick brush all day and my scope glass was completely protected. No problems with it getting pulled by branches and opened right up when I needed it to. Another great product!

Best caps I ever owned
I have had a lot of scope caps on various rifle scopes. These by far are perform the best. The rubber flexible cones fits tight. The caps a very positive clic when closing and I love how the caps lay flat on the top of the scope when fully open.

50 mm flip caps
I’ve had the flip caps on my Viper scope for a month and I really like them. Snaps open and closes with ease.. everything id want in a flip cap.
