Equipped with motion activation, the Defender-ST automatically powers on when you pick up your firearm, provided the Auto-Shutoff feature is enabled. This intelligent design conserves battery life by shutting off the red dot after 10 minutes of inactivity, and reactivates seamlessly with movement. The Auto-Shutoff feature is easily engaged or disengaged by holding both the "Up" and "Down" buttons for three seconds, allowing for customizable power management.
To prevent accidental adjustments, the Defender-ST includes a button lockout mode. This feature is activated by holding the "Up" button for three seconds, ensuring your settings remain consistent during use. The sight offers 12 brightness settings, including 10 daylight and two night-vision options, allowing for optimal visibility in any lighting condition. Adjusting brightness is straightforward with the intuitive "Up" and "Down" buttons.
Powered by a CR2032 battery, the Defender-ST boasts an impressive battery life, with an average run time of 25,000 hours at setting six when the Auto-Shutoff is disabled. This ensures long-lasting performance without frequent battery changes. The sight also features adjustable Elevation and Windage Turrets, each marked in Minute of Angle (MOA) for precise adjustments.
