Will work ok but not the best solution.
This cap is ok, and will do the job however the fit is very tight and had to be stretched to fit the rear objective, then once it is on it fits so close to the focus ring that adjustments cant be made for focus corrections. There needs to be an intermediate cap size made for better fit.

Defender 32
I bought this for my 2-7x32 crossfire II, when I went to put it over the objective lens, it was WAYYYYY too small. Before I ordered it, I contacted Vortex and the rep I spoke to said it was what I needed. Fortunately I had a Defender 40 that was being used and it fit perfectly. I'm giving 3 stars because it doesn't fit my application. That being said, it is very well made, I like the rubber that fits and seals around the scope. The cap laying relatively flat when open is a nice feature too. When you open the cover, it's quiet, with no plastic slap like the other brand I was considering.

Best caps out there for the money!
I have had a set of these Defender caps for my objective and eyepiece of my scope for about 3 years now and I will have to say they are the longest lasting caps I have ever had and are made extremely durable. Will be buying another set when I have the need.
