The eyepiece is a great idea, but but fails in execution. I purchased the eye piece to call corrections for prairie dog hunting. Targets range from 100 yards to 1,500 yards. At only 22x magnification, I'm better off using my rifle scope for those longer distances. A 35x or 40x would be far more useful. The . 2 mil increments are great when really really trying to make accurate corrections. I would like to see the reticle extend 1 mil above the windage line for corrections when a shot goes high. Unfortunately, this eyepiece collects dust more than anything.

These are vey nice Binos when taken independently. The problem is that there are a million choices for Binos out there now and these fall in a grey area that for myself just don't make sense to have purchased and I wouldn't do so again. As an example, are these better than the Vipers? Yes. But are they double the price better than the Vipers? NO. And for me the even better question is, if you are spending this much on Binos, how much more would it cost to put you into premium sets like the Razor. Roughly $500 more maybe? Is it worth saving and getting the Razor UHD instead? YES. It is substantially better than this pair, and money well spend going from this tier to the UHD. How do I know? I own Vipers, DB's, these Razor HD, and the UHD and still have all of them currently. The only pair I have considered selling has been this one, if that tells you anything.

I've been out scouting for big game for the archery and rifle season and I definitely am liking these Vortex Razors 10x42. The Razors are definitely clearer than my Vipers and Diamondbacks. I've also used the 10x50 Razors but I do prefer the 10x42 because of their size. I've hunted with the 8x, 10x, 12x and 15x but personally for switching back and forth from archery to rifle the 10x42 are my favorite and can get both hunts done without switching binoculars. The only negative thing that I can say about the Razors is that soon enough I'll be adding the Razor UHDs to the collection.

The glass is very clear. These work well for glassing. Might want a larger magnification if Glassing at further distances though.

I bought these for a trip to Botswana, Africa in 2018. They were perfect for the trip. Rugged, clear and easy to carry. I'm an amateur Astronomer and the Razor binoculars have 6. 9 degree field of view, perfect for backyard viewing.

It is hard to beat these binos for the quality, money, and weight. Been really happy with these after four years of hard use during hunting and shed hunting seasons out west.

These optics have everything that is needed weather you are scouting ridges, looking at duck fields from the truck, or side hill spotting across the canyon in timber. They are not too heavy for what you get and are as clear as a lot of other glass in a much higher price point. If you are just starting out or an expert these are great. It this is your first set then they very well may be your last, they are that good!

Stellar low light performance and great clarity. Crediting my successful hunting season to these binos as I'm sure I wouldn't have been able to ID mine from that kind of distance without these.

Bought my son these for deer and elk hunting in the west. We did side by side comparisons with top end glass in the field and I was truly impressed with the Razor HD's, especially given the price point.

Love this product and has been a perfect fit for my area. I live in southeastern United States so these binoculars are great for close and out to ranges of around 250 yards. Even when I make my annual hunting trip out to Texas, they do me great at longer distances. Great at low light conditions as well. Overall I love these binoculars and I would recommend them to most hunters or even anyone in the outdoors.

These binoculars are very high quality. The clarity is amazing, the construction is solid and well finished. Well worth the price and I find them to be superior to the Leupold BX-4 Pro Guide HD's that I also own.

Vortex had these at clearance prices and I was able to pick some up for a great price. I've had other Vortex items but always the diamondback or crossfire. The Razors are at a whole new level. The clarity of the glass made my Diamondbacks looks bad and I've enjoyed using them for years. I am now looking to upgrade to 12x50 Razors. Backed by he Vortex warranty makes these hard to pass up. Thanks for a great product.

I have had these binoculars for several months now and find that they give me a pretty sharp image. I don't have anything else to compare them to. They seem solid, but are on the heavy side.

Amazing optical clarity especially in low light. Images are sharp and bright. Rugged construction but lightweight. The bino tripod adapter works well in the field. The customer service is second to none. The staff took the time to help me with my setup for glassing and provided expert advice. I couldn't recommend the Razors and the company more highly. I will be checking out the Vortex spotting scope as well.

I bought these binoculars for a mountain goat license I was lucky to draw. The carrying case they come with works very well and is comfortable. The binoculars are relatively light weight, adjust quickly and provide a clear image. I never experienced any form of eye strain, and easily located any distant objects I wanted to glass. Expertvoice had these at 60% off when I got them, which was a steal. Great hunting optics at a fair price!

Phenomenal price for a Phenomenal bino, I was able to see much more detail when compared to my old crossfire HDS and although there was very slight color aberration at the edges the lens was very crisp and worked very well in the field. This product at this price is a no brainer!
