This is a great do everything tripod. Light enough to back into the back country and stable enough to shoot off and glass with the 20-60 Diamondback HD spotting scope. So long as you remember it's not the ultimate shooting tripod or ultralight minimal tripod you will not be disappointed. It's perfect for the person who doesn't have the budget for single use tripods but still has multiple needs. If you're on the fence, go for it. I love the height adjustment it brings to the table

lightweight and super stable tripod. using it with vortex viper 15x50 binoculars to spot Coues Whitetail deer in Southern Arizona. Helped to seal the deal on a nice buck this past deer season. sets up quickly and even has enough height that I can stand and glass with it (I'm 6' 1").

I have used this tripod for a spotting scope, camera, and as a rest for my rifle. It has held up to all of these use case and already traveled across the country with me. I highly recommend this product due to its weight, size, and versatility. it is also easy to use for anyone from a beginner to a expert photography, Hunter, or all around outdoorsman.

Going cheap while doing "light" doesn't work for me. 

I like a tripod that is stable so I don't have to keep moving the spotting scope because the tripod head doesn't do a good job; I appreciate a tripod that is so light, the heavier spotting scope doesn't rock in the wind.

I like this tripod. Pricey, but it works for me. YMMV.

Rock-solid tripod

This great especially if your mainly using it from a vehicle. Has a lot of adjustment and that allows it to become very stable. very happy with my purchase.

Great Light weight

Super rugged and light weight. I've used it on numerous hunts. I mainly use it for glassing. I can either sit and glass for hours, or extend it fully and glass from a standing position. The mount also allows for anyone with a ARCA rain to shoot from this bipod.

I read Rick's review and I totally agree with what he said. That's what I was going to say. 

I love this tripod and have zero regrets I like it much more than the four section tripods and if you don't like the pan head that comes on it you can always take that off and add a different ball head.

Performs as expected; good adjustability

The tripod is excellent; non-reflective, light, strong & easy to carry and operate.
Unfortunately, the head is poorly designed; mainly because loosening the pan wand also causes the objective end to drop. So, horizontal panning is terribly unstable. This awesome tripod would rate a 10 score if it had a much better head that it deserves.

Vortex- Awesome as Usual

Tripod is light and sturdy, the head could be better. Use it with a spotting scope. After locking the head on target, it will always sag a bit more resulting in loosing the target at distance. Must put deer (target) in top center edge of view. Then tighten the head.. hopefully this will get deer in center bottom of view after the head saggs. Other than that construction is good.

I wanted to find a lightweight tripod that could reach over 6 feet and be able to hold hy rifle. This one knocked it out of the park on all accounts. The ability to quickly transfer from glossing to shooting is amazing and the fact you can use it in the prone makes it that much better! It does collapse down small enough to fit on the outside of my pack without getting in the way. I highly recommend this tripod to anyone
