I've had this scope on a Tikka 300wm going on 3 years and never have to adjust it. The only time it's necessary is when I change loads. It is dead on accurate despite being bumped around in the field and experiencing a wide range of conditions. I've had many scopes and if I had to keep one forever this is it. Clear, built right, and holds zero better than any scope I've ever owned.

This rifle scope is absolutely amazing. The quality and clarity for the price cannot be touched. I replaced a 20 year old scope and the difference is astonishing. Why did I wait so long? I highly recommend and will be definitely buy more soon.

Bought this scope to put on my 204 Savage 110 varmint rifle with a 26" barrel. Simple fit on this rifle with minimal adjustments to get me out to 300 yards. Went out west to go prairie dog shooting, and this scope outshined my other rifle with a Leuxxxx scope on it. Adjustments on the side made it easy to keep my eye looking through the scope, and not out to the end of the scope like my other scope. The reticle is perfect for this type of shooting with the wind gusts, and we were doing head shots at over 240 yards. Love this scope and will surely buy another one to put on next rifle.

REM 700 30.06 180gr Barnes Scope is very clean, but after a week? I started to notice a fogging. As for sighting in, it tracked like non other at first? But opening of B-zone California rained big time? I did some brief hunting Then got out of the rain. On my way back I noticed my scope was fogged completely with water inside? it?s only built to my frustrations, due to the cost of nonleaded ammunition that was lost to nothing. $$$ But on the bright side Vortex rep was very friendly!!! Impressive. I decided not to ship it back at that moment and save it for next year in hopes of hunting the dry season. My mistake! As I attempted to take it out shooting it kept blowing zero, creeping up, after adjustments. So I called vortex again the help was very friendly and shipped the scope to my local sportsman?s warehouse which I got in two days. That?s VIP!! But I?m not gonna lie I have a very hesitant feeling to put it back on my O dozer?.

I bought this optic last summer and put it on my 7mm mag, it's accurate and tough and not to mention crystal clear, I didn't get any deer with it but I know it'll be faithful

Mounted the Viper on my new X-bolt 6.5 creedmore. Mounted easily with the X-bolt rings. Sighted in at less than 1moa at 100yrds for a 200 yard zero using the LRBC calculator. On it?s first hunting trip I shot a whitetail at 300 yards 10 minutes before the end of shooting light and hit exactly where I was aiming using the BDC reticle holdover from the LRBC calculator. 6.5 creed is not a flat shooting round and the scope?s clarity in low light allowed for instant holdover accuracy with no mucking around with turrets. I am very happy with this scope!

I bought the mil dot version. Before mounting it I have just a couple issues. Being my first mil dot, I wanted to familiarize myself. Surprisingly, the elevation/windage adjustments are still measured in MOA. The windage adjustment also starts at zero and goes up from there (full turn lines). It should start at zero in the middle and have a -1/+1. Also, the zero indicator on mine falls between to lines and not on one. A bit annoying, shouldn't affect performance.

I bought this scope to put on my 6.5 creedmoor, went to the range and was surprised at how crisp and clear the glass was, even out to 500yds with mirage the colors were bright. This is my first vortex scope, I've always bought leupold, but the gun shop didn't have any leupolds in stock when I bought my rifle, so I "settled" for this scope. I'm very surprised to find that the glass is more clear and crisp than my Leupold MkII, and the turrets on the viper are very tactile and smooth. This scope is amazing, especially for the price! I am sold on vortex for life!

I bought this scope a 2.5 years ago, back for my ata arms turqua gen 2 hunting rifle in 308 winchester and it doing his job for 100% holding 5 shots group under 1 inch at 100yards. Perfect scope for hunting for a distance.

I enjoy shooting tiny groups, positive clicks, crystal clear clarity. My first steps into shooting at a 1000 left me lacking with my old optic. Now my hits are up have the adjustment I needed. Little dark at higher magnification before dusk. Still extremely happy with the purchase.

I purchased this for my .223 Savage Axis II Precision rifle, and couldn't be happier. It is one fantastic scope. Optics are sharp and bright. I highly recommend this scope and price wise, it's a steal.

I wanted this scope even though I had never heard of it. We sighted the scope in@ 100 yds., then 200 yds. I’m high about a 1 inch. I put the scope on a Creedmoor 6.5, I’ve been hunting with this gun 2 months. I have killed 6 hogs, 2 bucks,

I have had this scope for 4 years now on my .308. Glass is crisp, clear, and holds zero very well. In fact I have never had to adjust zero. Also this scope is amazing with light absorption. So if you hunt in areas with low light I wouldn’t choose any other brand over my vortex viper.

Purchased this for my AR in 556 w/20" WOA barrel, that I use in 500m steel silhouettes competitions. It was never "crystal clear", was always a bit foggy. It developed a outer ring halo in black, would not hold a elevation adjustment in either direction, it just didn't seem right. Sent it back for warranty work, it had a bent reticle, a broken erector and a way out paralax. they fixed it, but now it is having issues again. Unfortunate

Bought my first Viper about 6 years ago and love the scope. I finally saved up and bought 4 more over the years including 1 for my son. The Viper scope has been great for hunting and long range shooting. We have a custom turret built for every scope except for 2 of them which will be happening soon. I am a huge Vortex fan and will continue to buy more.

I bought the viper about 2 months ago. I have it mounted on a Ruger American 300 win mag. First I sighted the scope in. Next time I shot was 200 -300 yrds. The last time I was shooting out to 600 yrds and all shots were within 2 inch groups. Impressed.

I just put this on my 6.5 Creedmore and I'm loving it. I am still new to the long range game and this scope is giving me the tools and confidence to stretch out my range.

I recently got in to trying to see how far I could shoot and maintain a level of accuracy. To do this I needed a new scope. After looking in to many different models and brands I decided that this was the best for my budget. I have been very impressed with it so far. It is more accurate than I am and gets the job done at a great price.

Best Scope I’ve ever owned. Like many people my budget doesn’t support buying a $2000 scope but then the difference is so negligible compared to this scope. I have no worries about hunting shots to 500 yards and the quality and fit is incredible. With the Vortex warranty you can’t go wrong

This was my first purchase from Vortex. Bought it at that time because of the price point compared to competitors but it remains on my 30-06 because it reliably shoots true every time. I like the mil dot for ranging capabilities in the field and the 6.5-20 reaches further than I can shoot. I can’t imagine not putting Vortex on every rifle I have.

Bought this scope for my 6.5 creedmoor bolt action rifle and couldn’t be more happy. This is my third vortex scope and same quality - exceptional glass, great turrets, and useful reticle. Best scope for the price!

I have hunted with the viper rifle scope for 4 years. It seriously is the best glass I’ve ever used. I love the magnification because hunting in the west I use this scope not only to shoot but to spot game at distance. Fantastic scope that is repeatable amd reliable.

For me specifically this scope is a perfect do it all scope. I hunt, occasionally long range shoot, and use as a potential recon/defense set up. I run a Remington 700 .308 and it serves as my only long range gun. I hunt mule deer in Wyoming, shoot at a long range course, and use for any other shooting opportunities among other things. The score is clear and rugged has never lost zero despite some pretty nasty drops. I have used 3 different vortex vipers on my gun and would recommend them to a...

Bought my scope about 2 years ago and clarity and functionality is perfect for the odd hunting trip or paper punching, but I wanted to know how good this scope is so I watch YouTube from time to time, came across a channel #Pietskiet who reviews products he uses for PRS shooting and or hunting....first video I open is Vortex Viper 6.5-20 Torture - Uncut. Not bad not bad at all butt then the second video Frozen Vortex Viper VS 12GA Shotgun - Torture Test, but I wanted more so I went to a show ...

Shrugging off recoil, moisture and darkness with impunity! The Viper's status as a premium riflescope won't be as easy to shake. Discover a riflescope with incredible performance features like 95 percent light transmission and premium, fully multi-coated optics for stunning detail and color differentiation delivering all this and more at a price that should have pulled a few more hundreds from your wallet than it did.
x-Factor Vision, Precision optics feature our exclusive XR anti-reflective coatings for exceptional image clarity, and XD premium high-density glass to provide the edge-to-edge sharpness needed to differentiate details at any distance.
The Viper's Precision-Force Spring System is a patented system that uses an ultra-performance copper alloy / cobalt-beryllium spring. Not only does this greatly increase the fatigue life of the erector support system over more commonly used materials, but changes in spring pressure over time are virtally eliminated because the spring maintains a constant force throughout the entire range of motion. And, most importantly, windage and elevation adjustments are consistently smooth thanks to the spring's resistance to galling against the erector tube.
The Viper's Precision-Glide Erector System features premium-grade fluoropolymer teflon resin bushings that provide exceptional resistance to stress cracking, temperature change, corrosion, and friction-induced wear. In addition, these bushings have an ultra-low coefficient of friction for the smoothest possible operation of the magnification adjustment.
Vortex engineered the Viper riflescope to stand the test of time and rough abuse. The solid one-piece main tube of the Viper is incredibly tough and constructed out of 6061 T6 aircraft-grade aluminum. Vortex goes even further and purges the Viper with the highly-prized argon gas, targeting corrosion in an unchallenged way.
