I have had these binoculars for sometime and have tested them over and over again! They have been my go to setup for hunting coues whitetail in az and nm. Unfortunately they broke in half last year when I dropped my tripod. It wasn’t to hard of a fall but still hit the dirt. Customer service was stellar, sent me a brand new pair, but was told they will be discontinuing this model. I continually get a head ache when glassing with these binos now. These are a great starting glass but save up and buy a better model maybe the kaibab or Razors. Those models only come in 18x56 now which is better in my opinion!

I have multiple pairs of binoculars from Vortex but, the 15x56 vultures are now my favorite. The vultures fit comfortably in my bino harness and are really comfortable to hold while glassing. As far as quality, they seem to be built very well and are very durable so far.Glassing at distances over 5 miles is very clear and you can adjust focus very easily while holding steady.Vortex has a tri pod adapter available for the vultures which is also handy for those long days.I would recommend these to anyone looking for great binos and they are very affordable.

Bought these about a year and a half ago so been a great pair of glasses to have had them elk hunting and deer hunting in Arizona and Utah as well as moose and caribou hunting in Alaska been absolutely incredible on all these trips taken lots of abuse and finally gave out on me on my Alaska trip after I killed thank goodness but you can’t beat the warranty

I wish I had bought these before buying the Razor 11-33x50mm spotter. Being a glasses wearer, these Vultures Work much better for me then that spotter. At higher magnifications... that spotter requires that you remove your glasses. I'm almost exclusively hunting solo and I'd rather not be removing my glasses if I can help it. That's just asking to drop them out in the field. Also, so that I can keep situational awareness quickly about my vicinity around me. The area I hunt has a good number of Mtn Lions. (Had to walk past 7 one evening! I love these Vultures! It's like your brain is on Crack when you're looking thru them!.. because your eyes are soo excited to be viewing the world soo clearly again, being somebody who now has to wear glasses all the time and who cannot read any text without my glasses now. Spent two hours watching a Buck at 300yds in the rain, at the tail end of all those recent 2019 rains we've finally had in SoCal. The glassing thing... I get it now that I have these Vultures. On another recent trip I was looking ridge to ridge, backside of D11 in Angeles National Forest that overlooks PalmDale and those other cities down there. When I noticed... oh wow... I could make out what models of cars and trucks there were in the parking lot of a large chain store... something like 6 miles away back down over there in the Valley floor! This was of course in optimal conditions, but still, I was blown away by that! Also was very cool to take my boy to nearby WetLands and document wildlife as part of a Scouts merit badge. Also cool for checking out the birds in my backyard from Tripod. And it's low-light capabilities are very cool for identifying critters on the back wall of our house in the middle of the night.

Bought these and was a little worried i would be disappointed due to the low cost, i thought you get what you pay for, but you get $1000+ quality for less than $500. Im very happy with these. I will be buying others for family members.

These binos will never let you down. After my family drawing 6 muley tags last season I knew I would need quality glass. These pictures should tell the story. Thank you Vortex

If you're looking for a great pair of binos that won't empty your wallet, look no further. I was very impressed with how clear these binoculars are, you'll see more animals when hunting because you'll be able to see further out. Here's a picture I took through my binos with no phone scope, just holding it up to the eyepiece. These deer were over half a mile away

These are great for the Arizona coues deer hunts! The HD Glass makes it easy to spot the sometimes hard to find critters, even in low light. 10/10.

It is very common seen a lot of LR match shooters and LR hunters switching from spotting scopes to this outstanding binos; and after using them and experiencing the HD glass sharp image with the 56mm objective lens for light gathering in low light situations I became a transitioner. Using the adjustable diopter and the center focus wheel makes spotting for any of my gun friends or spotter a very personalized experience and since using both eyes eye strain/fatigue had never happened. For comfort they include the neckstrap, carry case and even a tripod adapter for extended surveillance. On the outside they are built with ODG rubber armor to prevent slips ,retain less heat than full black colors and internally waterproof and fogproof .All cover by the Vortex VIP lifetime transferable warranty.A most have for police units.

I was wanting to drop the spotting scope and carry only 15x bino for long day hunts. The Vulture HD are an incredible value. I have compared the optics to binos 3x more expensive and the difference is minimal. Very happy with the purchase.

I received these “replacement binoculars” for an older set that I broke on an elk hunt due to my previous set being discontinued. I absolutely love these HD’s. Clear picture with clean lines. I can pick out antlers in a Virginia forest like never before. Not to mention I don’t get headaches or sore eyes like I have in the past with my busnells. Amazing customer service and an excellent pair of noc’s. I also run Diamond back 10x42 as does my son. I think I will be buying HD versions in the future.

Had these binos for a year and love them, great clarity and love having the more powerful binos. If thinking about going for more than 10x highly recommend these.

It was time to get myself a pair of long range binos for some open land hunts where I needed to see them first! These binos spent the trip mounted on a tripod in all weather from clear sky’s to snowy rain. We put them beside a pair of $1200 Nikons and the Vuktures held up. While my buddy was able to see one additional tine at about 800yds, my Vultures gave me more than enough confidence to know it was a big buck! Definitely money well spent and kept within my budget. Thanks Vortex!

Bought these before a coues hunt and am glad that i did, I have a couple of the diamondback binos but needed something with a little bit more power and light transmission. I was happy with the way the vultures performed clear picture, lots of light just as advertised, no fogging cant beat the price, they definitely made glassing a whole lot easier.I will always continue to buy nothing but vortex products!

I ended up buying these during my deer hunt last year, I had another brand of binoculars and they fell out of my bag and broke, I drove to the nearest store with the intention to buy a pair of vipers the store only had this pair of binoculars and some Swarovski left. I ended up buying the vulture and I am pleased with them. I was able to use them to spot far away to where I had no use for my spotting scope and when I was getting close to the deer I would use my brothers binoculars. I had planned on exchanging them for the vipers but decided to keep them and get another pair of binoculars later.

I've looked through quite a few sets of binos from $50 Wally world specials to Swaro SLC's. The Vultures arent as crisp/bright as Swaro SLC binos but that would be like comparing these to Razor binos..not the same price point. For the money the vultures are a great set of binos. I'd definitely recommend them.

They are a bit heavy, and the optics are not any better than the next model down.

I purchased these binos for my Southern AZ coues hunt and these binos are awesome! I really like the location of the focus wheel, makes focusing quick and easy. Very clear glass and when you put these bad boys on a tripod, glassing is so much better especially when you’re looking for long periods of time.

I wish I had gotten these first... before purchasing the 11-33x50mm Razor Spotter. And here is why. Due to age, I now have to wear eyeglasses all the time. The lil spotter is cool... but really only effective when I'm wearing my glasses from about 11x to maybe 16x or 20x... before significant vignetting occurs and I'm looking thru a peephole. To go any higher than that I cannot really do so without taking off my glasses and really pressing my eyeball up on the eyepiece. Now... there's a small amount of vignetting looking thru the Vultures with my glasses on as well. But it seems a lot less than the lil Razor gets at high magnification... and... with the Vultures you've got two tubes so FOV is twice as wide! More than twice as wide actually. I can really move my head around side-to-side within the view and it'll allow me to view quite a bit over to one side or the other! Can't really do that as much on the lil Razor spotter. And yeah... if I take my glasses off and look thru the Vultures, Wow, FOV is kick-butt! with no vignetting at all. I just don't want to be dealing with taking glasses on-and-off while in the field because to me that's too risky. Adding way more chance of accidentally dropping them, etc. And unfortunately I NEED THEM at all times now. And I usually go out solo, so need my glasses to be able to see around me as well to check my 6. So far I've only had the opportunity to take the Vultures out to the relatively nearby Bolsa Chica Wetlands preserve in HB, CA. I was really impressed! It's freakin' cool to be able to spot small little species of ducks at 730 meters! Or clearly see some guy fishing off the rocks the other direction a full Mile away! I'm just a Meat Hunter, barely starting out in his hunting career. Just starting my 5th year as I approach 50yo. And here in SoCal, these are all I'd ever need for any of the long-distance glassing I'm going to be doing. The most I do are over-nighters or 3-day hunts if lucky enough to find a partner every once in awhile. And realistically, anything where I'd need higher magnification than this to see it? Out here? There's realistically no way in heck I'd be able to traverse that much terrain within a single days time. Especially when in the steep interiors of the Angeles National Forest or the vast expanses of shoulder-high seas of chapparal in the Mountains around OC. So for me it's going to be 8's on my chest for hand-held viewing, and these and a Tripod in my pack! My successes so far have been ambush-based and particular to certain thick locations of limited visibility. With these Vultures, I'm planning to change that up and add more locations to the repertoire. A poorly managed local governance decided last year that it totally wasn't illogical at all to close down the access road to the area I'd been consistently focusing on... DURING THE 1st 2 WEEKS OF THE GENERAL-SEASON OPENER!!! As you can imagine I was furious. But it taught me a valuable lesson, and that is, to have an array of multiple possible hunting areas you scout simultaneously through-out the year, because in this EFF'd up state, you never know when your access to one of them might just be arbitrarily cut-off, for no good reason. So during this coming year I'm looking forward to what these Vultures are gonna show me!

This is the second I have owned They are the best binoculars for the money The only reason I had to purchase a second set was due to someone with sticky fingers They have a great price range which makes it easy to afford these as a gift or a top end set for yourself They will not disappoint

I heard that the focus would take some getting used to but really took like 5min to figure that out and now good to go. Im very happy with my new addition to my optics inventory with the 15x56 Vulture HD. Can easily freehand 400 yards and closer but highly recommend use of a tripod for long distance for steadiness and clarity. The Tripod Adapter needs some fine tuning to be a bit more user friendly but for the plus side of not having to lug around a spot scope its a good trade. Hope this helps and good hunting...

An hour after the sun went down on a overcast night, my eye couldn't pick anything up in the brush, Yet when I put those 15x56 Vulture HD's into the brush I could easily discern and see clearly. It was like night time bino's. Really nice! The picture is crystal clear. I can't wait to show my family these..... they'll want to purchase them.

I hunt alone often and really got tired of carrying a spotter. I bought a pair of these and absolutely love them. My buddy has the Viper 15x’s and other than the size I couldn’t tell a difference.

Use these before you bust out the spotting scope! They reach out far enough you can decide if what you’re looking at is worth getting the scope out for. Can save you a lot of time. Works best if you have something to rest them on.
