The Vortex Optics Viper XBR 2.5-10x44 Crossbow Scope with XBR-1 Reticle is a long range scope specifically designed to optimize the effectiveness of today's powerful crossbows. It comes equipped with XR anti-reflective fully multicoated optics and XD extra-low dispersion glass. This combination of glass and coatings produces an high-contrast image that is bright and clear, with accurate color fidelity and minimal distortion across the entire field of view.

Set on the second focal plane, the XBR-1 MOA-based reticle features an illuminated center dot with hash marks on the lower vertical axis every 5 MOA and illuminated dots every 10 MOA. Large posts on the outside of the horizontal and upper vertical axes are easy to see and lead the eye to a 10 MOA center cross set with 5 MOA hashes. A dedicated brightness dial controls the 10 brightness settings. Individual 'off' positions between each level allows the user to quickly return to a preferred setting, without having to cycle through them all.

Its 30mm single-piece main tube is made of lightweight and durable aluminum. A matte-black hard anodized finish resists scratching and corrosion. The optical tube is argon-filled and o-ring sealed for water and fogproof performance in extreme conditions. Exterior lens surfaces are treated with ArmorTek, an ultra-hard scratch-resistant coating that repels water, oil and dirt.
