When my Kodak carousel stopped working, I reverted to this small, handy item. One slide at a time!! But it helped me review 20 trays of slides to decide which ones I want to digitize. Very useful item!!

Hey! It's just a little slide viewer. I have a collection of 35 mm slides from about 50 years ago. I needed something to review them so I will know which to keep, put on disc or whatever. I bought two viewers. That way I can look at a slide and pass the viewer to someone else while I load another slide. Works perfectly. No way to improve focus on the slide, however.

Not sure why all the negative feedback below.. Gosh. It's a plastic slide viewer meant tobe held up to a bright light and look at slides. In the days of film, this is what you used to decide if you wanted to make prints or not, and it is what I am using today in deciding whether or not to digitize my old slides. It's perfect for this task. If you want to make copies or duplicate slides you'll need to buy some better equipment. If you want to see the close up detail in a slide - more than 1 to 1 ratio, then get a good magnifier and build yourself a light box. I'm 100% satisfied with this lightweight plastic viewer to sort, preview, and store my slides. After sorting, I copy the ones that have potential using proper close-up equipment. I recommend this viewer for that simple use. I also recommend it if you want to send old slides to family members. Buy one of these viewers and include it. Thanks!

For quick checking of slides this product is sufficient. You can take it anywhere to view slides using natural light, indoor lights, even flashlights. It's a great slide archival tool.

I had old slides to view, was disapponted in this BUT it did the trick....Was able to view slides to decide which to print....Very cheezy construction....Looked like a toy in cracker jack box....
