ThanksCINDY M : It isn't battery operated as such, but the charging is done while it is hooked to your computer with your usb cable. The charge lasts for quite a long time. Easy to share while traveling. Just like flipping through a photo album.ANDREW R : Unfortunately no, this unit does require the use of an AC power adapter to operate.
