LEONID M : Is there an adaptor for a7R for this lens?ted c : i use the voigtlander close focus adapter for this and other leica m mount lenses. there are less expensive adapters, eg, metabones, but i like the close focus ability.KENNETH M : There exist third-party adapters for this and other Voigtlander lenses to Sony a7R cameras. The highest quality adapter is made by Novoflex but it is also the most expensive one. However, it is important to get a tight fit between lens and camera via the adapter so it may be a good investment to consider the Novoflex adapter. I got the Voigtlander 21m/f1.8 lens myself but don't have a Sony a7R camera and thus don't have the Novoflex adapter either. Therefore I don't know whether the Novoflex adapter comes with front and rear caps. If not you should get a Sony rear lens cap and body cap for this adapter to protect is connector surfaces. Please be aware that the Voigtlander 21mm/f1.8 lens is an analog lens so that you have to use the Sony a7R camera in manual mode and have to use the lens in stop-down mode. That means you have to focus the lens manually - best wide open at f1.8 - and then stop-down the f-stop ring to the desired f-stop for your shot since the camera can't do it for you. From the camera menu you can then select the exposure time. I hope this helps!
