You should refer to the Camera Quest website. The carry the full line of Voigtlander lens with complete descriptions of accessories of each lens. By the way I love my 35mm f1.4, it's a great lens at a great price for the quality of product. No disappointments! I have no qualms about recommending the products. It is the hood that Cameraquest sells with the 40.
