I use this Viltrox 75mm f/1.2 PRO lens on a 40mp Fujifilm X-H2 body, which it mates to and excels, both in ergonomics and especially image quality! The sharpness obtained with this lens from wide open at f/1.2 to f/8 is simply astounding! It has the smoothest Focus ring I've ever experienced in 50 years of photography, and the weather sealing and overall build quality is fantastic as well. While a bit large and heavy for an APS-C lens, it pairs well with cameras such as the Fujifilm X-H2 and X-H2S. Not sure how it would feel with any of the cameras with a smaller grip. Highly recommended!

Great image quality on all counts, sharp and just excellent. The only short fall is that it is pretty big and heavy on a Fuji Xt50 and not in the general ethos of Fuji cameras. You wouldnt want to carry it around all day long.

I used this almost entirely to shoot a baptism recently, and the pictures came out beautifully. This is my second Viltrox after the 27mm, and I remain very impressed by the quality of this line of lenses.

This is a fantastic lens that it is worth more than price. It is very sharp and creates a nice bokeh that do not appear swirly or have unusual shapes. It has a nice solid build quality and has an ideal focal length for portraiture or headshots. The large aperture allows you to create a nice separation between foreground and background.

Though a 75mm 1.2 lens would be fantastic on full-frame, on APSC it is a bit underwhelming, and I have found portraits produced from this lens to flatten the subject's features considerably. Moreover I am not that excited about the color rendition from the lens. It is sharp wide open, though it has limited application for me. Its MFD is also a bit disappointing.

Razor sharp corner to corner at all apertures, this lens is an absolute gem and at the price (any price tbh) should be a no-brainer. The build quality is beautiful and on par with Fuji's lenses. It's a bit surprising just how good this lens is compared to anything Fuji offers. The focal length is very usable, more than I expected. Be aware that at f/1.2 the DoF is *extremely* shallow. With the latest firmware update the autofocus is accurate and doesn't hunt. It's very competent at more than just portrait work. I took it to the races, and it was the lens I used 95% of the time.

This is a superb portrait lens for small groups or full body shots where you are seeking separation from the background. If you are shooting head shots or half body portraits, you need to stop this lens down quite a bit as the focal plane at those distances is razor thin. This Viltrox is extremely well corrected with little to no purple fringing or longitudinal chromatic aberrations (magenta in the foreground and green in the background). I've shot this lens indoors at basketball games at F1.4 with bright lights in the background and there is zero color shift (to green) in those lights. Auto focus with the initial firmware was terrible but the recent firmware update (V1.0.2) completely fixes this and would now describe the auto focus as excellent. Manual focus on this lens is very responsive and IMO is better than even recent Fuji releases I have experience with. The firmware update also fixes any issues with manual focus switch, so the MF/AF switch now works as it should. I've compared this Viltrox with the superb Sigma 56mm F1.4 that I have used extensively for several years and the Viltrox is just as sharp at wide apertures as the Sigma. Build quality is top notch and the included lens hood slides on and off easily and properly. I've included a backlit portrait of two of my kids shot at with a fair amount of extra background left in for inspection of bokeh and aberrations. Picture was shot at f2.8....backlit hair with ZERO defringing done in post. With many lenses there would be purple highlights everywhere in that hair (I'm looking at you Sigma 30mm F1.4 and Viltrox 85mm). Highly recommended.
