UGNIUS G : I was wondering if this item works with MAC OS X ?? Thank you! URAMON W : Yes!! I have a MACBook Pro 17". Had no problem and was glad to have run-up on this equipment. I have 1,000's of Slides having been a professional photographer years ago. ' El Senor Ramon ' 20th Nov'12ANDREW R : Yes, this unit should work with Mac OS X (10.4 and up).
Shopper : Will this scanner work with Win7?BONNIE JEAN F : This doesn't HAVE to hook up to your computer. It is a complete separate system where you can put a SD card and save the pictures to that then transfer them to your computer. And yes, it is completely comparable with Windows 7 as I have used it with laptops and desktops that are running it.TIMOTHY H : I cannot say for sure. I used this scanner with XP Pro, although I see no reason why it should not be compatible with 7.HARRY L : I had it working with Windows 7, although I vaguely recall there were installation issues. But once working, it worked well.ANDREW R : Yes, this scanner should work with Windows 7.
Shopper : find driver online?ANDREW R : Except for earlier versions of Windows (98, ME) no driver should be required. This unit acts as a Mass Storage Device when connected.

I'm very happy with my scanner.

The trays are hard to load and unload and only hold 3 slides at a time. Loading and unloading takes up the bulk of time using the scanner.

Does exactly what it was intended to do.

Great for transferring those old slides to digital which can then be made into prints or used in slideshows, etc.

Does what they say it does!

Putting slides in and taking out are tiresome as the trays are hard to manage. The view screen is very helpful to see that slides are set up correctly. I'm enjoying using it.

A piece of junk

It did not turn on. It was such a cheap looking and feeling piece of junk that I asked for my money back.
