This printer uses dye sublimation thermal transfer with a resolution of 300 x 300 DPI for quality images. The Photo Cube mini can print borderless wallet size images that measure 2.0 x 3.4-inch and use an all-in-one ink and paper cartridge for convenience.

Connecting to the printer is possible via its built-in Wi-Fi with NFC. This allows for tap to connect, and with the free mobile app for iOS and Android users can also select a variety of other printing options.
