Bought this filter to take pictures of waterfalls. I've only taken a few test shots so far (it's winter so will have to wait for the flowing water), but so far I am pleased with the quality for the price. The ring does feel a bit fragile compared to some other filters, but it should last as long as you don't abuse it. I haven't noticed any issues with image quality.

This filter worked perfectly for photographing water falls with a regular DSLR. However, I ran into 2 problems when using a DSLR modified for reflected IR (815nm) photography. It did not reduce the light as much as for normal color photography and there was a slight circular reflection of the front of the lens from the back of the filter which I could not see until I downloaded the images to a computer. I will be purchasing another filter that is rated for visible through IR, which is far more expensive.

Was hesitant about purchasing this filter as I only found a few reviews of it online. Since the reviews were goods, and the filter was on sale at 50% off, I decided to buy. So glad I did. Although I've only had the opportunity to use it a couple of times (rainy and gloomy almost every day), the few times I've gotten to use it, I've been very happy with the results. I do not notice any reduction in sharpness. I would definitely recommend this filter to anyone looking for a quality filter.
