Great lens for use on the APS-C sensor Nikon. After much research I decided to test out the functionality and usability of wide angle lenses and my shooting style I chose this one instead of the much costlier Nikon lens. For the price you cant beat it. Granted you have to manually set apeture and focus, but thats not that big a deal...good practice at the least. Has done great so far and met all of my expectations.

alright, i love this cause I'm another poor college student who wanted to take fishy shots, and it goes down to 7mm and cause its orange. for that purpose its great awesome and fun, i was between this and the cheaper pro optic but i can't tell you whats better. anyways the shots are great and experimental and it fits good with my nikon, but i really wish it was automatic though manuals not bad in comparison so if u can afford a nikon one, go for that if ur serious

What you pay for is what you get, it's okay.I wanted AF so upgraded to a Nikon 16mm fisheye, so sold mine, but have no complaints.Some photographs taken with this [@]If you can afford, go for the Nikon![...]

Very good performance with the low price of this objective. Although you have to use manual settings (no Auto) is very easy to use. With a good aperture setting ring and an even better for focusing. Perfect for taking panoramic photos or pictures of landscapes, both urban and nature.

great fisheye manual focus is only drawback if you always use auto but for about $300 less than other auto fisheye lenses this gets every thing I need
