have used vivitar filters since 1970 still made the same way as then affordable and well made. most may be wary of their affordability, but their workmanship is top notch.

This is a nice set of the three filters I would be most likely to use.  If you are getting a new camera, like I was, getting filters for it both to achieve better photos and to protect the lens is a really good idea.  The price was right, and the filters came in a nice protective case.

I learned to appreciate ND filters when I purchased a 43mm filter set, so I decided to get one for my Fuji XS1.  The Vivitar Series 1 set is very thin, a good thing for wide angle zooms. And yes, the price is right!

I use the UV filter to protect my Sony zoom lens.
I use the polarizing filter to remove the glare from water and glass.  It is also very helpful for deepening the saturation of colors, and drawing out clouds.  This is an essential outdoor filter for my lens.

I use this product on my Tamron 18-270 mm zoom. Each filter has proven to be useful. I use the UV filter on the lens at all times to protect the glass. Overall I am satisfied.
