Decent filters for the price

While nothing to brag about, the price makes this a pretty good deal for the casual shooter. The CPL and ND filters are effective, but the UV filter is pretty poor and will cause flare and intermediate reflections due to poor coatings. Useful in a pinch but a very poor choice for a protective filter.

This set was a included with the purchase of a Nikon lens. Spending the amount I did on the lens I really didn't think this set of filters had the quality needed to be used on a $1,000 lens. I was right. The UV works well but the CPL and ND filters lack the quality needed to be used for anything other than an expensive lens.

Bonus Filter Kit.

First let me say that Adorama is great. The products I purchase is great. I did not purchase this $ filter kit. It was a bonus add on, but when you purchases a $ lens you do not purchase cheap filters. Just saying' This is why I gave it 3 stars… so I never really used it, nor would I every use it… but thanks for looking any way.

ND density not exactly neutral

It's a really good price point but does have issues. I also found the Neutral Density Filter not quite neutral... it shifted the colour a little. I found the Multi Coat UV filter has some issues with reflections. When I was taking pictures of fireworks I found many shots had reflections (I think) of the firework light creating a ghost image up and to the right. Perhaps it was bouncing off the front element on the lens and onto the back side of the UV filter.

Neutral Density has magenta color cast.

The UV and Circular Polarizer are OK but the Neutral Density has a strong Magenta color cast and is clearly not "Neutral".
