Surprisingly ?ecent for an inexpensive filter and cap! My expectations weren't high. I needed some cheap glass to protect some expensive glass, and I trust Vivitar. The bright color makes it less likely I will grab the wrong lens when I'm in a hurry. Money well spent.

The UV filter works excellently and the blue ring and cap look great! It protects the front of your lens so nothing scratches or dings it and it's crystal clear so it doesn't lower the quality of your images. I recommend it to anyone looking for a UV filter that will add some uniqueness to your camera.

The lens cap that came with my camera was hard to put on so I replaced it with this one. It is much better. I wanted the blue cap to distinguish it from others. The blue filter allows me to tell kids to look at the blue circle.
