A must have item.

Aside from the fact it can (and I proved this theroy already) protect you high dollar lens from damage just like a UV filter, it has great benifits for use when shooting outdoors. The polarizing effect is worth the price of one of these, with you being able to knock off glare from water and glass. Of course you must remember it works best at a 90 degree angle to the sun. It also will drop 1-2 f stops.
