Great External Power

The Vivitar Battery Grip for the Lumix G85 is an excellent accessory. It fits the camera perfectly and also provides a much better grip on the camera. I haven't used the additional knobs because I'm still learning the camera. But the grip and extra battery capacity alone make this accessory an absolute must for the Lumix G85.

Poor fit

The Vivitar battery grip wasn’t contoured to fit the bottom of the Nikon D500 properly. There were spaces at the edges between the grip and the camera. It also didn’t have the same texture as the camera body. I returned it and bought a Nikon refurbished grip from Adorama.

Great feel.

Ordered this with a D500. Came with both the AA battery tray and the tray for the standard Nikon battery. Fit and function is great. Not too much use as just received it today. I look to upgrade to the larger battery and BL5 cover. As the camera kit we got only had one standard battery, we will be purchasing another so we can run 2, with 5he AA tray in reserve.

This is a pretty decent battery grip. It works well and fits on the camera well. My only complaint is that the battery door rattles and moves a little. It's a very minor annoyance.
