Works as Advertised

Purchased to go with my wife's 5300 to help reduce vibration during night scenes, portraits and macro. Camera has settings for "instantaneous" release or 2 second delay. I would say the "instantaneous" is about a 2-3 second lag at best. Must hold the shutter release button down to get it to fire, not just a quick doorbell press. For the beginner and hobbyist, it will work fine for most situations. Heck of a value.
