Bought this to use as a zoom light. Switching between colors is great and it's bright, large enough. Downsides is it has a short tripod which means it probably will be aiming up a little unless you can make a platform for it and since it's got legs that spread quite a bit you'd need a stack of coffee table books are some other bulky thing. Better to get a tripod with adjustable height, unless you are hoping to aim for using it to fill in shadows

The ring light offers a lot of flexibility with the different color temperature settings and brightness levels. The USB cord is more than long enough. And there are more mounting options than you'll know what to do with. Using it has drastically improved my video chat image quality. I keep it set on the warm color setting and at about half brightness. It sits directly above my webcam. The only other lighting I have is the ceiling light.

It’s a little on the flimsy side, but works well for what I bought it for—Zoom calls and some photography. Trying not to make too many adjustments so it lasts awhile. Everything collapses into a easy to carry, easy to store bag. I’m sure it‘s good for iPhone photos and videos, as I tried out the phone mount. If you need a sturdy, professional ring light this one is probably not for you.
