For The Price - A Great Little Glass Filter...
I got this for my 18-150 lens and the filter threaded on easily. I use it for the extra protection of the lens, mostly from dirt, fingerprints etc. It's easy to clean. If you have a lens with a 55mm filter threading then I'd recommend this both for price and the fact it is a glass filter not a resin. UV back in the day when I did film photography was important, today not so much if at all, so the UV aspect is not, to me, important.

Works as expected.
Had some flare but I?m not sure whether the filter contributed or it?s the lens. Need to do more tests.

Fine UV filter
Works as expected. For the price, the quality is quite nice. It is just a simple UV filter, and I don't notice any optical impact, but I am not as discerning an eye as some. I just wanted to add some protection to a pancake lens (yes I am that type of uv filter person) with no lens hood and I feel that this suits the job

I bought mine as a lens protector, and it does cut down on UV light reaching the image sensor or film.
I use mine as a lens protector. Optically fine as well.

Life at the 72mm Objective End
When you live on the objective end of a 180mm f3.5 1:1 macro lens in the wilds of nature, life is tough. You must be optically flat, colorless, stay out of the picture, and keep the subject matter out of the lens. This filter does it all, and at for a modest price.

excellent quality
Excellent lens for scenic landscape photography. The clarity and color of the photos were postcard quality with no blur or distortion.The lens functioned perfectly on my D7500.

Fast focus, great image quality and zoom range
Still lots to learn about using this camera, but I love the fast autofocusing and image quality. An unexpected plus is that the zoom range can be significantly increased by using the Clear Image Zoom feature. I’m having much more success using instructional videos I find on the Internet than Sony’s downloadable manuals.

Surprisingly good.
I've had bad experiences with telephotos and wide angles from Vivitar. However, seems to fit well, and no distortion. Of course, this is a far less complicated device!

Lens Protection
I have had my Canon for several years without a filter, and in reading about the benefits of a UV filter, I decided to invest in one. I haven’t noticed any difference in the picture quality but appreciate that it protects the lens. Thanks Adorama for the info on your site about UV filters.
