Be careful with color temp description

This is a good bight light, maybe a bit too bight. But the real concern I had was that the description reads as if you can control, variably, the color temp, which you cannot. Versatile cheap solution

The two negatives would be the narrow angle of coverage and the power levels. Altho there are 8 power levels, it does not dim by 8 EV steps. It has a total range of 2.33 EV in steps of .33 each. Positive aspects are the interchangeable battery of a common type so you can get more, and be charging spares while using the light, or carrying enuf charged batteries for a days work. The magnetic filter fitting is a very good thing and I consider the included filter to be essential. The power switch is a push button, a type which is generally more durable than slide switches, so it's not so harmful to keep switching off to extend the battery run time.

About Vivitar VL-180 LED Light Panel

Vivitar Professional LED Video Light provides its users with affordable lighting solution for professional quality vidiography, without sacrificing professional standards.

Lighting options
