Great glass filter, no vignette, and dials up nicely

This variable ND does a great job for the price. Fits nicely on the lenses I use it on and doesn't seem to leave any obvious color cast on the image at any intensity, whether it's photo or video.

Budget variable ND Works Well

Works very well for such an inexpensive price. Unfortunately the number for the amount of density is not displayed only hash marks.

So far, so good... especially if you’re on a budget. I’m relatively new to shooting and just want to build up a solid kit for s good price so I can learn and refine the basics before investing more. I’ve used this filter a few times for long exposures and I’ve been happy with the results.

Solid ND filter, easy to use! These are great for shooting in bright light when you want to keep your aperture wide. I use for both photography and videography.

Needed it quickly for a México trip. Adorama shipped it expeditious. It’s two pieces of not the top quality glass over the lens but the variable density is useful and as I was shooting grab Candids for a family gathering it works just fine

I've been frustrated trying to get good water shots of moving rivers, waterfalls, etc.  A friend of mine has this filter and she recommended it to me.  It's inexpensive so I figured it would be worth a try,  Great results for a reasonable price.

the Idea is good because you can use differed density but don't use it for 10 stops you will get the X in your pics.

Vivitar ND lens works excellent for long exposure photos, it is easy to use and affordable, spending more money on expensive filters does not make the photo better, it is the photographer taking their time even when using non expensive filters... Vivitars quality is great for me it does what it is intended to do for my needs and I would recommend it ... And Adorama had just what I needed at the price I was looking for ....

Vivitar ND filters work great and affordable

Great filter but your 67 diameter cap it will not fit since the filter is bigger than the thread.
So it's not good to leave it on. Thankfully i had some KUVRD universal caps.

This ND filter has been working great!  I spent 200 bucks on another ND filter and this cheaper one is just as good if not better.

I like taking long exposure photos, up until recently only at night, now with the Vivitar 37mm Variable Neutral Density Filter I am branching out into daytime long exposure photos. The filter is well made and easy to use. Ordering from Adorama was quick and easy and shipping exceeded my expectations and it was here well within a week.

Filter worked for the solar eclipse

This is fine from about one to seven or eight f-stops, but the last two settings exhibit strong banding/

Only partially works

Handy filter for shooting waterfalls. No need to carry a pile of filters....just turn this one till you get the desired effect. Also handy for shooting in the woods where a slower shutter helps to increase contrast in an all green setting.

Not worth if you want good quality pictures. Pictures vignette a lot as you increase f stops. You get decent quality pictures till 3-4 stops only. Even then you can spot weird dark fringes which just keep getting darker for higher f stops.
Buy only if you want a cheap 2-4 stop variable ND filter.

I have played with my filter in the house, I cant wait to take my camera out with the tripod and experiment with it and the aperture.

Short review: Not worth the enticing prospect of do all ND filter range.

I bought this filter in hope for cheap variable ND filter. But the results are very disappointing, The lens has heavy x-type distortion at higher ND ranges, and the images are unusable. 
I would have rather bought fixed ND filter and staggered more of them together to achieve "variable" ranges.
Also, there is no way to make out the ND number from the lens and hence calculating shutter speed and other camera variables are impossible.
