Shopper : Does the bottom have threads so that this can be screwed into a mini tripod at the bottom?John C : Afraid not. The bottom has a rubber foot with a retractable spike. It can not be removed.THOMAS C : There is a metal spike and a retractable rubber foot at the bottom, but no attachment to a mini tripod.
Irma B : Can this monopod be used as a selfie stick?Danny G : Not very easily. You would have to hold the base and the cushioned handle end normally used to attach your phone/camera/etc would be in the air. I would not think it would be comfortable for very long. The base has a pointed metal stud that is surrounded by a rubber guard that screws in to the pole. IF YOU COULD REVOVE THAT AND GET A CONVERTER SCREW TO GO FROM THAT SIZE TO THE COMMON TRIPOD THREAD SIZE, YOU'D BE IN BUSINESS. It is a "little" heavier than the standard selfie stick but still very light compared to a lot of monopods. It extends to 67 inches which will make it appear heavier with photo equipment and maybe somewhat hard to control depending on what and how you plan to use it. Hope that helps. As a monopod, I like it...Henry T : No. It has a standard tripod screw mount and extending leg, that is it. FYI, works great as a monopod.OSVALDO R : Theoretically yes, it just doesn’t have a remote. It’s just a good old fashioned monopod. If you have the proper mounting hardware for your camera then yes you can mount it. It has a quick release mount. It has the typical 1/4” mounting screw. Hope that helps!IRVING L : NO!JORGE C : Hi, Not for me, I do not take photos whit cell phones but works perfect whit my camera.....great deal.ANDREW R : I doubt that it would be ideal as a "selfie stick".
lauren b : can i use this with sony cybershot camera? the model is dsc-p93aMONICA A : You should be able to as long as the camera has the tripod thread on the bottom of the camera. If it does then this monopod would just screw into that.

This came with another order. It seems well made and works well. Adorama's prices are good and the shipping speed is great.

Very good, but can not support all DSLR, you need to consider the load capacity, i use it to mount my speedlight or my small DSLR.

Photo Video Monopad

Just received a replacement for one received that was damaged. We use for flag poles. The replacement has the same number on it but the butt end does not have to round end with auto clip which we really like better for our purpose than the larger end for holding.

Love the flexibility and light weight

I use it with a Flashpoint Universal Umbrella holder to hold where I want it for a main light or a fill while shooting with a tripod in studio. Light, easy to use.
