bought this camera for my 10 year old great nephew for his birthday. he is always wanting to borrow mine to take on field trips. now if he looses this one, it was his and not mine. pretty nice for the price

Even on the lowest quality picture setting we can only get about 30 pictures before it is full. Uses 3 AAA batteries and goes through them in less than 20 minutes- last time it lasted about 10 minutes. Picture quality is terrible, even on highest setting (Manage to get about 10 photos). When batteries run out all photos are lost. Software is terrible to use "Drag and drop" cant be dragged directly from a folder, need to be dragged from the program to a folder so you still have to download into the program first.

We bought this for my son as a Christmas gift. It was a terrible camera taking blurry photos, jerky video, and found out it only has an internal memory. Every time you replace the batteries everything stored on the internal memory is lost. I spoke with Vivitar tech direct and they did say you could increase the photo quality which probably would have helped the blurry pictures however you could only store 15 pictures at this higher quality setting. 15! Adorama sent a return label and is supposed to refund this but the camera itself is bad quality and you cannot store any pictures long term.

This was the worst purchase I have ever made. If the battery gets to 30%, all pictures automatically erase! What a rip off and I purchased two as Christmas gifts. Do NOT waste your money on this product!

This camera is very cheaply made is not simply compatible with a Mac. In our attempts to take the photos off of the camera the metal grip of the USB port broke, fell inside the camera and now all photos are stuck on the camera forever. I regret this purchase.

I would definitely NOT recommend this camera. If the battery area is opened or if the battery life reaches 30%, ALL pictures. I purchased 2 as gifts and feel it was a big ripoff.
