I have had this camera for a few years. I am now looking for a new camera because the door to the batteries is a hair loose and it won't work because the battery connector is on the underside of the battery compartment door. I think the picture quality is really good. It took pictures one right after another without any lag time. I even took great pictures of the clouds and ground from an airplane window. I didn't use the selfie mode much because it was too hard to focus yourself in the viewfinder by the way it is positioned on the camera. If I could get the door fixed, I would use this camera for many more years. Another downfall is the fact that it sometimes runs through batteries quickly. It really depends on how many pictures you're taking though. I have taken this camera on 3 major trips, got great pictures, just needed more batteries.

So extremely disappointed in this camera. Save your money and buy something better. The rear flip-out screen is extremely flimsy (i'm sure it's goinna break sooner rather than later) and quality of the picture in the screen is abysmal at best. There is no lens cover of any sort and it feels like it's going to break very easily. I wanted a decent camera but I would have been better off spending more money because this was just a waste.
