This product was used as expected, but was in good condition. Worked well with my lighting setup. I would recommend if you don't want to spend a lot of money on a panel.

Just got mine. Not immpressed. Quality is not great. Corners arrived crushed in. Seam does not line up and close properly. Looks like a cheap throw together DIY project. To use this would require lots of photoshop to remove all the visible seams in the photos. ??

I cannot make it seamless. The Velcro is not strong enough to join the edges well, they open and I see streaks of light coming thru. I am didapointed with this product.

I've been wanting a V-Flat or two and was able to get two. One was warped and I messaged customer service and they shipped me out a new one immediately. Great customer experience!

Love the idea of the product and it works great when the velcro works. We have 2 sets of these and the velcro sucks. I've had to replace the velcro multiple times now. Other than that it's an awesome product.

I have had an excellent experience with V-flat. At first I was really torn about whether or not they were worth the money - mystery solved. They are. Now I wish I had gotten them sooner! I had one that came damaged from shipping, through no fault of V-flat, and Johnathan helped me so thoughtfully, and sent me a replacement. It was an easy process and he was so incredibly helpful. Can't say enough good things about them!

I ordered the "dented" V-flat on sale, and when it finally arrived, I was surprised! It doesn't have a single dent or ding. It does have a small smudge- as if someone had stepped on it. But it's nothing crazy. Fun surprise! I was expecting a huge gash through it. Ha! However, I was NOT impressed with the shipping, so that's why the lower stars. I ordered it on Nov. 29, and I received an email on Dec. 2 that it shipped. I waited, and it never arrived. I then opened the chatbot box to ask where it was, and after 50 min, I left the box without a single answer. Nobody came. Robots were too busy? I emailed asking about the estimated delivery time. I had my Visa card hacked over that weekend so, I didn't know if there was an issue on my end. The response email told me to refrain from opening multiple tickets as it slows down the response time. Still no answer as to where my item was. It finally arrived on Dec. 13. Which would have been fine if the original shipment/ delivery had been closer to that day. I'm happy I have one now, but I doubt I'll ever order another thing from this company. Customer Service is dead, apparently.

After receiving a badly damaged-in-shipment item due to FedEx, the customer service was impeccable and sent a replacement to me immediately without argument. I received it without any issue, it's perfect! I appreciate more than almost anything else the customer service that I received from this company. V-Flats are great!
v-flats work well for so many different photo scenarios! I am intrigued to try the latest version as it looks as though the ease of putting together with magnets at the connecting seams will be a huge win for overall light tight fit

It's positives are also it's negatives
Overall very functional and it's nice that it folds down because my studio space is SMALL. However the velcro does not stick well to keep it assembled and it allows light to leak through so I don't get to utilize it in all the ways I'd like to. Over time, it has bowed a lot as well.

The foam boards warped in a couple of weeks. Since the boards are warped , the Velcro doesn't work. It's a clusterf*ck. I was hoping to use for a white corner shot, but there is such a gap I'm going to have to clone it out on every image.

I'm very happy with my experience with V-Flat. I've been eyeballing the foldable V-flats for a while now and finally decided to purchase them. I ordered the set of two V-flats. When they arrived, one of the shipments was extremely damaged while the other one was ok. I reached out to V-flat and they took are of the situation FAST. The replacement v-flat is on its way and I couldn't be happier with their customer service and product. Y'all won a life-time customer <3

Both v-flats came in "good-ish" condition, but they both leak light at the center. Pressing it down doesn't fix the issue, it's just a flaw in the product. So I don't believe I'd buy another from V-Flat World.

V-Flats are a must. Having the white and black backgrounds at your disposal is invaluable! The travel bag is free and necessary. I also ordered the DUO Boards, which are anti-glare for product photography! Best on the market!

I'm new to using V-Flats, so unboxing them was a joy. It only took a little bit to understand the many ways to them. I am now experimenting with them to see how they affect my photos. I have to spend a bit of time to become proficient with them, but they make quite a difference already. I love them.

Overpriced, poor quality
Yes, white panels work for bounce light. Yes, dark panels work to deepen shadows. On that, then yes, they do work. But so would any white or black surface.
The panels have lived in a full-time air-conditioned space, and still warped immediately. Because they're made to fold, it means that the velcro stopped making good contact. With velcro making poor contact, the panels are constantly flimsy, and trying to collapse. When they collapse, it'll be on a client or a light stand.
Folded, the panels are still just too large to fit in a backseat or trunk of a car, so that has no value to me.
I've taped up the gaps where the velcro is supposed to be, but the warping pulled the tape off after little use.
I built my own 7ft tall panels years ago with foam core and gaffers tape. They didn't warp in the studio, did the job well, served for years, and cost a fraction of what these cost. I needed an emergency replacement after the studio flooded, and purchased a set of these. Would not purchase again. Re-engineer the design to be less disposable, or drop the price by half.
