High Quality Lenses
To achieve the full resolution of a megapixel camera, it is essential to use a high quality megapixel lens. Overall image quality is greatly affected by the quality of the optical image directed onto the image sensor. ViewZ Megapixel lenses provide high contrast, brightness and sharpness across the entire image plane. Non-megapixel lenses will not fully display the resolution of megapixel sensor, especially in the corner areas of the image.
High-End Motorized Zoom
ViewZ high resolution megapixel zooms offer a wide range of manual and motorized versions including our 35X day/night model suited for long range port and border surveillance. The compact and lightweight design allows establishment of compact remote surveillance systems. Many models are available with preset potentiometers.
Made In Japan
All ViewZ lenses are all made in Japan and we produce superior quality products in a small-sized manufacturing environment, where we respect craftsmanship. ViewZ offers over 180 advanced lens solutions such as Fixed, Vari-Focal and Zoom in both standard and megapixel resolutions for a variety of applications. Each ViewZ lens is backed by our 4-year warranty.
DC-Type Auto-Iris
An auto-iris lens without an internal circuit to control the iris. All iris control voltages come from a circuit located within the camera to adjust the iris for changing light levels. DC-type lenses are recommended for use in inconsistent lighting conditions (e.g. outdoors). These are sometimes referred to as DD (Direct Drive) lenses.
Various Focal Length
Focal length is the basic characteristic of a lens and determines how much magnification it provides. The focal length defines the area of the scene that can be viewed with a given sensor size and is expressed in millimeters (mm). ViewZ lenses have many options when it comes to focal length selection to fit your application.
C Mount
CCTV lenses are available in two different lens mounts. Many of today's cameras can accept either type of lens, but it is important to make sure that camera and lens are compatible and set up properly. C-mount lenses have a flange back distance of 17.526mm vs. 12.5mm for CS-mount lenses. C-mount lenses can be used on CS-mount cameras by utilizing a 5mm adapter or adjusting the camera for C-mount lenses.
