The VZ-HDC-M1 HD-SDI True WDR/MP Day/Night Miniature Camera (NTSC/PAL) from ViewZ features a 1/3" Panasonic 2.2MP CMOS sensor for recording Full HD videos at 30 fps. This day/night camera captures images at illumination levels as low as 0.5 lux. In addition, features like digital WDR, AGC, HLC, motion detection, backlight compensation and auto white balance offer clear and crisp images in varying light conditions.

2.2 Megapixel CMOS Sensor
All HDC series cameras use a Panasonic CMOS Sensor. HDC series cameras boast 3 Full HD CMOS image sensors for RGB. These image sensors are 1/3", 2.2-megapixel (1920 x 1080) and are capable of acquiring full-HD images.

Full HD SDI Resolution
HDC series cameras feature 1920x1080 (2.2 MegaPixel) HD-SDI output resolution with active 1944 (H) x 1092 (V) and effective 2010 (H) x 1108 (V) pixel resolution.

True Wide Dynamic Range (True Wdr)
The HDC series cameras' TRUE WDR technology combines long and short exposures into one frame to increase image quality better than DIGITAL WDR. This technology also improves color reproduction, produces clear-cut features and better contrast ratio.

Digital Day Night
HDC series cameras' digital day/night function allows for viewing in both day and night conditions without the use of an IR cut filter. During the day it records in color, adjusting electronically to offer similar benefits to TDN, but with a slightly lower cost. When sun does down, the camera digitally switches to black and white.

Mega Pixel Miniature Camera
The VZ-HDC-M1 miniature housing of 1" x 1" (24.5 x 24.5 mm), True WDR, Digital Day and Night and other features allow this camera to be mounted almost anywhere, including inside of another object like a clock or a radio.

Privacy Masking
Privacy Masking is a feature on all HDC series cameras. It allows you to blur or completely block certain areas seen on the monitor within the field of view of the camera.

Motion Detection
Whether you're waiting for an expected event, hoping you don't spot an unwelcome visitor or just curious about what happens when you're not around, HDC series cameras' motion detection function starts recording when motion is detected.

Sens-Up (Slow Shutter)
See color images in the dark! By automatically slowing the shutter speed, all HDC series cameras are able to pick up the slightest traces of light to display a bright image.

Progressive Scanning System
The HDC camera line utilizes a progressive scanning system which will eliminate the jagged edged artifact seen commonly in interlaced scanning.

30 FPS Recording at 1920x1080
HDC series cameras let you capture vivid, sharp pictures at 1080p Full HD resolution.

Automatic Gain Control
AGC (Automatic Gain Control) increases the amount of amplification in certain conditions to bring the video signal up to the minimum required level. AGC also reduces noise and picture attenuation as well as the signal to noise ratio to provide a quality picture.

Backlight Compensation
Backlight Compensation controls the brightness level of the screen in order to distinguish objects against backlight.

Highlight Suppression BLC
Highlight Suppression cuts off strong lighting such as a car's headlights. According to user's preference, zones and sensitivity can be adjusted. For example, when viewing a vehicle on screen, Highlight Suppression allows for clear recognition of license plates and/or person(s) inside the car. HDC series cameras function to mask bright areas in order to prevent the target object from looking dark due to the backlighting.

2D/3D Noise Reduction
(NR) Noise Reduction is used in order to obtain a high quality output image and enhance compression efficiency. They offer Edge Preserving 2D NR and Motion Adaptive 3D NR.

Built In On Screen Display
All of the HDC series cameras can be controlled by built in OSD.
