The Vixen Porta Mount is a Light weight Alt/Az mount with slow motion controls on an aluminum tripod

The Porta Mount is a highly portable system: because the weight of the scope is always over the mount, there is no need for heavy counterweights. Standard Vixen dovetail mounting slot with lock and safety screw easily removes to reveal 1/4"-20 and M8-1.25 threadedholes for custom mounting solutions. Porta mount features switchable slow-motion knobs, tension adjustment hex key, disassembly hex key, built-in hex key storage bay, round tripod tray and aluminum legs that extend from 90cm to 130cm.
