Does this get it to boiling, in which case I can unplug it just before that, or does it get to a certain temperature or length of time and quit?SCOTT S : While I do not own these particular cups, I have owned several similar ones. The manufacturers of these devices are concerned about law suites. Remember the law suite involving a cup of coffee at a McDonald's? Supplying a device that can cause 3rd degree burns while driving are too risky. To my knowledge, no one makes a cup that will boil water, or even get it hot enough to make tea.KATHLEEN M : The heated cups keep the beverage very nice and hot and yes, they will heat a cool beverage to a hot temperature, but not to boiling. They seem to maintain a certain fairly hot temperature. LINDA F : I have been very pleased with these. Previously I bought some from Ross and they pooped out after a very short time. These do keep the coffee very hot- I wouldn't say to "boiling" (which I would not want for my coffee!) And I use them for coffee. In fact they get so hot I have to unplug them after the temperature gets up or I think they might boil. Very pleased so far

I use the mugs on a long drive (12 hours) to keep my coffee hot, and they do! The only thing I would say is like other brands I've had, the black print on the outside (name) rubs off eventually, but who cares? This is the first of 3 sets I've had (2 other brands) that I have been very pleased with.

Travel mug power cords

I have purchased 6 wagan travel mugs, the mugs are great but the power cords do not last but a short time, I have been trying to find replacement cords but I can not find any where.
