I haven’t fully tested this out yet but what I noticed is it is whisper quiet. And I really like the remote control. I would buy again and highly recommend.

After a significant revamp, the ProLine 5000W Power Inverter with Remote Switch, 12V, from Wagan Tech, emerges as a top choice for off-grid users. This power inverter series has been redesigned from the ground up, featuring a new SMT circuit board, a sleek glossy exterior on a smaller casing, and a substantial weight reduction, making it a more compact and lightweight power solution.
The new SMT (Surface Mount Technology) circuit boards enhance the reliability and efficiency of the inverter, reducing stray RF emissions compared to the older PCB (Printed Circuit Boards) and through-hole boards. This technology has allowed for a 28% reduction in case volume and a 36% decrease in overall weight, resulting in a more efficient and reliable power inverter.
Beneath the stylish exterior, the ProLine 5000W Power Inverter houses a powerful cooling fan and the SMT circuit boards. The front panel features a manual power switch and a jack for the included remote power switch. It also boasts three 120V AC outlets, each capable of delivering 1500 watts, conveniently positioned on the right side of the inverter.
Additional features include LED Over-Load and Over-Temperature warning lights, as well as Voltage and Amperage level indicators. A robust AC terminal block is located just below these indicators, ensuring your investment is well protected.
On the rear of the ProLine 5000W Power Inverter, you'll find a large cooling fan, Heavy Duty Solid Mount Positive (Red) Terminal, Heavy Duty Solid Mount Negative (Black) Terminal, and a Ground-Neutral Bond stud with wing-nut. These terminals are designed for easy connections and to avoid cable stress common with traditional inverters.
Wagan Tech designs its inverters with high peak surges to support high surging appliances such as tools, microwaves, air conditioners, and refrigerators. This is achieved through the use of top-quality components and reliable MOSFET transistors, the cornerstone of dependable inverter manufacturing.
