As someone who loves coloring, this device has been a joy. It has allowed me to complete my edits quicker and more precise. Editing with a mouse is a thing of the pass.

The tablet itself is an essential peace of gear for every aspiring photographer or illustrator. With its compact dimensions and unparallel precision this is the best peace of gear that is necessary in digital photography postprocessing. Perfect for Lightroom and Photoshop use. I'll highly recommend it to my friends.

So easy to use and really helps streamline the process. I also have a wrist injury so it’s way less pressure on my wrist to use those product than a traditional mouse when I edit photos.

If you have been using your mouse for years.. it works.. and you can keep doing so... But if you ever get to use one of these.. You will hate the fact of not using one ever again. You probly will throw the mouse to the wall. Seriously.. the tablet helps me breeze through all of my edits. I used half a day to set up with all my preferences .. and then a few days to get used to it.. Now i can't do anything with out it! Worth the money..! Also set my area to a quarter of the pad.. so small size was perfect unless you are doing large work and started as a traditional painter...

The tablet works well with the cable. I have problems getting the wireless connection to work. I find out that it was the wireless receiver. Per previous reviews they suggest to insert the wireless receiver only 1/2 way in. It is working now but it does not make sense.. I always lose time trying to find the right 1/2 in..

Works like a champ! This came with another order I made, and I don't really use touch tablets. I ended up giving it to my best friend to use, and she loves it.

I love this tablet. I am a professional photographer and I had the medium for a very longtime but it always felt too big. For photo editing I find the small to be the perfect size. If I were doing graphic arts with free hand drawing I'd go with the medium or even the large, as they both often require a much longer single stroke. However for photoshop I find the smaller area is better suited for the shorter stroke more typical of photo editing. The touch feature is also really great. The ability to pinch zoom while editing reallly speeds things up. If you are new to graphics tablets it does take a bit of practice so give it a few weeks to acclimate yourself. Once you get use to it there will be no going back. The ergonomics alone make this a must have for anyone who spends hours of editing graphics at a computer. The pen is a very normal position for the human hand and I've found I no longer have the hand cramps and carpal tunnel like symptoms of using the mouse. Don't hesitate any longer get this tablet

Love it, looks very sleek and easy to use - needs a bit of practice and time to adjust to the functions and be able to master it.

This Wacom tablet is easy to use, has great software and is great fr photo-editing. The Wacom website has many videos on how to use your tablet to help get you started. This has made my experience all the better.

Definitely a learning curve involved with adapting my workflow to incorporate the tablet. Ive had some connectivity issues when using wireless, which I haven't worked out yet, thus have had to use wired for any reliability. On a positive note, the customizable side buttons and wheel speed up editing tasks, but I recommend watching some tutorials online to aid setup. One thing that I highly recommend is reducing the size of the active area, at least for photo editing applications. Doing so saves your wrist a lot of movement, and honestly I don't need that much surface area to cover. I can't imagine anyone needing the med or large tablet for photo editing/retouching. Using the tablet vs a mouse gives me much greater control and precision. Overall I like it, and I'm sure I'll like it more with continued use (esp if wireless issue can be resolved).

After seeing several training videos on Photoshop, Lightroom and photo 10 where the trainer is using a Wacom tablet and even has a section on the merits of a tablet I decided to get one. After reading several reviews I ordered the Intuos Pro Small. It is great. The learning curve is steeper than I expected but it is fun to use and I am sure I will use it more after I get over the function key programming hurdle. My main complaint is the documentation is sparse and I couldn't link to the "free" Lynda.com training software that Wacom provided. It turns out the Wacom provided link sent me to a wrong page. The Wacom Tech service was useless. I got the problem solved by working with the Lynda site directly.

I decided to upgrade from my Bamboo CTH-470 Capture. Unlike many reviewers, I am not a full convert to tablets for photo retouching, despite having used tablets for several years. I like the touch sensitivity of a tablet for increased dodge and burn subtlety, but still prefer a high precision mouse for most other adjustments in Lightroom and Photoshop. I upgraded from the Capture mostly because of the increased button capabilities of the Intuos. I particularly like the Touch Ring for controlling brush sizes. As an added benefit, I found the heftier, higher quality pen easier to control than the pen bundled with the Capture tablet. And I find that I am growing attached to the Radial Menu feature of the Intuos, especially when programmed to activate with the front pen button. For me, the benefits of upgrading were worth the cost, though I would not necessarily recommend upgrading with any enthusiasm. Although I think the precision and sensitivity of the Intuos are somewhat better than that of my older Bamboo, for me, the differences are not striking. I think that the Bamboo Capture is a fine tablet for hobbyists, like myself, and that the upgrade to the Intuos is more luxurious than essential.

The Wacom PTH451 Intuos Pro Pen and Touch Tablet provides a small form factor for anyone with a serious creative passion in photography, art or design but lacks the necessary space. The streamlined size packs a lot of power into a small amount of desktop space, which works well with Wacom's pressure pen capabilities and intuitive multi-touch gestures.
With precision and control, you'll be able to take full advantage of your professional software. The Intuos Professional Pen and Touch tablet has 2048 levels of pen pressure sensitivity on the pen tip and the eraser. You can edit your creative work with the accuracy and precision of traditional brushes and pens. Designed for both right and left-handed use, you can also enjoy the freedom of working unattached from your computer by using the Wacom wireless kit included with your tablet.
Six customizable ExpressKeys and Touch Ring give you quick access to your favorite shortcuts while on-screen Radial menu and Express View heads-up display help you stay focused on your work. The ExpressKeys are also customizable and can have application-specific shortcuts. Connecting to your PC or Mac through a single USB connection, Intuos Professional Pen and Touch tablet will have you creating in no time.
