I had to send the first one I received back due to damage to the pickup during the shipment. However, even the first one played beautifully. The second one is in perfect condition and was an absolute steal. The tone and action are wonderful right out of the box.

This is one of 2 different models of washburn acoustics I ordered. Each had a terrible neck set resulting in a super high action. No saddle to correct it, a necessity when the neck set is too high. Would have been a nice guitar if the neck was set correctly. If you buy one have it checked by a luthier or someone who knows what they're looking at within your return period. A chinese built guitar with a bad action and high neck set is totalled, worthless.

The Washburn WLO100SWEK is an great guitar and an incredible bang-for-the-buck purchase. It's good-looking but more importantly it sounds great and feels amazing. You won't get quite the same range of frequencies that you would from a larger-bodied guitar like a dreadnought or grand auditorium, but that's just the laws of physics. It sounds great and between the wide (but not thick) neck and string spacing and the smaller body it's very comfortable to play. The ratio tuners on this thing are phenomenal, I wish I could afford to put them on all of my guitars. The preamp is also very nice, I love that it has a mic blend--very handy for recording or for any kind of percussive play.My only complaints are pretty trivial: The preamp panel on mine when it arrived was pushed a little into the body so I had to take the panel off and push it back out, and the action needed some adjusting to fit my taste but that's hardly worth mentioning. All in all, very pleased and very impressed.

Fantastic guitar. Looks and sounds great, extremely playable. I'm an amateur but pretty respectable electric guitar player who plays mostly blues and jazz with a little hard rock and just wanted a playable, smooth sounding acoustic to play around with when I don't feel like plugging in and this fit the bill and then some. Haven't used the electronics other than for tuning but it sounds great.

Item arrived quickly. The carrier obviously handled it very roughly, so I had to contact customer service. They were great to work with and very helpful. The instrument itself is beautiful and comes in a decent hard case. I’ve owned multiple higher end martins (d35, hd28, 000-18GE) and Taylors (714ce, 814ce) and I can say that you’re getting comparable playability to those with great sound for finger style or light strumming. Can’t beat it for the sale price!
