Wooden Camera BMPC 4K Modification + PL Mount, Requires Factory Installation (Modification Code, Electronic Download)

The Wooden Camera BMPC 4K Modification + PL Mount converts your Blackmagic Production Camera 4K to an interchangeable mount with included PL Mount. The interchangeable mount is compatible with RED Epic/Scarlet lens mounts which, by use of adapters, allows you to mount PL, Nikon, Canon, Leica and BNCR glass on your camera. Note that when using RED lens mounts, electronic control of the lenses will not be available. The Wooden Camera is also planning to introduce a line of lens mounts in the near future.

Wood or Rubber Faceplate
Modification includes wooden faceplate with working wooden record button. Original rubber faceplate can be reinstalled

Flange Focus Adjustment
For proper flange focus, modified cameras require the use of an included shim set. The correct shims are installed on your camera prior to shipping.

Completion Time
During PRE-ORDER phase, you will be contacted by email with a date for which to send your camera in to the service center. Estimated completion time will be provided by email but will likely be between 5 and 10 business days from the time they receive your camera.

Compatible Camera Models
Only the Blackmagic Production Camera 4K is eligible for service. All other models like Blackmagic Cinema Camera 2.5K EF, Blackmagic Cinema Camera 2.5K MFT, etc. do not qualify for modification.

Service Center Locations
Cameras will be modified at the main facility in Dallas, Texas or the service center in Munich, Germany (whichever is closer). If you have a preference to send your camera to one or the other please contact Wooden Camera prior to placing an order.

Return Packaging and Camera Condition
Wrap the camera very securely, print and fill out the form emailed to you and place it in the box, then send to the address included on the form using a certified mail carrier (FedEx, UPS, TNT, etc.) Packaging the camera in it's original box is preferred. Do not include third party accessories like SSD cards, batteries, plates, etc. with the camera. Do not allow screws or components to be loose in the package as this will cause serious cosmetic problems. Wooden Camera will not be responsible for damage or loss caused during shipping. If the camera received is in a condition not satisfactory for modification, you will be contacted and the camera will be returned without modification.

Please note that this modification procedure will void the Blackmagic Design warranty.

Wooden Camera Limited Warranty
Wooden Camera provides a 90 day limited warranty for modified cameras. Warranty covers modification parts only. Blackmagic hardware and software are not covered by this warranty.
