I've been using another brand DSLR audio adapter with built in preamp and volume controls. Although the A-Box has no controls, the audio coming into my Fuji Xt4 from my wireless mics is as good or better. Warm, uncompressed and clean. The footprint is what this box is all about and the build quality is very good. Worth the money.

The A-Box is not just limited to RED cameras; it's also fully compatible with any camera equipped with a single 3.5mm input, also known as a 1/8" input. This makes it a versatile tool for a wide range of audio-visual projects, ensuring you capture crisp, clear, and high-quality audio every time.
Constructed with the highest quality professional-grade connectors, the A-Box guarantees reliable and consistent performance. It comes complete with a Bolt On 19mm Rod, allowing for easy attachment to any 1/4-20 threaded hole. Additionally, a 15mm Adapter Bushing is included for clamping to 15mm rods, providing you with multiple mounting options.
Please note, this adapter does not provide phantom power, and the RED Base Expander Module is a required item for operation, which is not included in the package.
