To detach the camera while leaving the rods, simply unlock the right-side thumbscrew, slide the camera back slightly, and lift. The baseplate features an ARCA Swiss standard shape dovetail attached to the camera's bottom, allowing seamless integration with a wide range of third-party products.

The baseplate also includes threaded 1/4-20 holes on the bottom, perfect for attaching to gimbals or tripod plates when necessary. A vertical 15mm rod opening on the upper dovetail can support a lens adapter foot directly in front of the camera body, enhancing your filming capabilities.

Constructed from high-quality materials, the baseplate's lower section features the Lower Quick Dovetail, equipped with 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes for easy attachment to a tripod plate or ARRI standard bridge plate. To remove the camera and take the 15mm lightweight rods with you, unlock the left thumbscrew, slide the baseplate back slightly, and lift. This action reveals an integrated ARRI dovetail slot on the bottom, compatible with any 2060 Dovetails, Safety Dovetails, or Shoulder Rigs.

For VCT-14 compatible mounting options, the Unified Baseplate can be attached to the Unified VCT Wedge Plate, offering easy counterbalance ability while on the shoulder. This can then be attached to the Unified VCT-14 Tripod Plate, which can be mounted to the tripod head. Additional Unified Lower Quick Dovetails can be purchased for mounting to gimbals, jibs, cranes, and more, ensuring quick and repeatable camera transitions.
