The Canon C500 Unified Accessory Kit (Advanced) is a camera support package designed for the Canon C500 camera. The C500 accessory package includes: Top Plate (C500), a top mounting camera cheese plate for accessory attachment, Unified Baseplate (C500), a quick release baseplate that holds the two 15mm Rods (15") at the correct lens height, Safety Dovetail (8") which interfaces with the ARRI dovetail slot on the bottom of the Unified Baseplate, NATO Handle Kit (Cheese, 70mm), a quick release handle that attaches to the Top Plate, the Universal Hot Shoe for attaching the original Canon C500 LCD unit, Rod Clamp (15mm LW) that provides multiple 1/4-20 mounting points for the Recorder Slide which attaches V-Mount & Gold Mount battery plates as well as on board recorders.

Top Plate
Top plate for Canon C100, C100mkII, C300, C500 cameras. Arrays of 1/4-20 holes in standard spacing. Multiple 3/8-16 holes for large accessories. Use Shoe Handle Mount to attach original Canon handle or monitor to top plate. Great for mounting EVF Mounts, Handles, external monitors and more.

Unified Baseplate
Unified Baseplate (Sony FS7, Canon C100mkII, C300mkII, C100, C300, C500) is a quick release baseplate that provides lightweight 15mm rod support at the correct lens height. 15mm rods pass through front to back and have two locking thumbscrews per side. The baseplate quick releases in two ways, giving the user the option to take the 15mm lightweight rods or to leave them behind.

To remove the camera and leave the LW 15mm rods behind, unlock the right side thumbscrew, slide the camera backwards a short distance and lift straight up. The dovetail attached to the bottom of the camera is an ARCA Swiss standard shape which can integrate with many third party products. Additionally, there are threaded 1/4-20 holes on the bottom for attaching to gimbals or tripod plates when necessary. Also on this upper dovetail is a vertical 15mm rod opening which can be used to support a lens adapter foot directly in front of the camera body. An example of this would be the Sony FS7 using a Metabones Canon EF adapter. The upper dovetail would be positioned with the vertical 15mm rod opening to the front and the Unified Lens Adapter Support Kit would be installed and threaded into the Metabones support foot.

The bottom of the baseplate is comprised of the Lower Quick Dovetail which has 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes for attaching to tripod plate or ARRI standard bridge plate such as Unified Bridgeplate (19mm) or Unified Bridgeplate (15mm Studio). To remove the camera from the included Lower Quick Dovetail and take the 15mm lightweight rods with you, unlock the left thumbscrew, slide the baseplate backwards a short distance and lift up. This action exposes an integrated ARRI dovetail slot on the bottom which can attach directly to any 2060 Dovetails, Safety Dovetails or Shoulder Rigs.

For VCT-14 compatible mounting options, the Unified Baseplate can be attached to the Unified VCT Wedge Plate, providing easy counterbalance ability while on the shoulder. This could then be attached to the Unified VCT-14 Tripod Plate which would be attached to the tripod head. Additional Unified Lower Quick Dovetails can be purchased to mount to gimbals, jibs, cranes, etc, making for quick and repeatable camera transitions.

Safety Dovetail (8")
8" ARRI standard dovetail with safety catch on one end to prevent accidental camera removal. Threaded 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 holes for accessory mounting and tripod attachment. Attach to Shoulder Pad for custom handheld configurations Perfect for Manfrotto, Miller, Cartoni and more.

NATO Handle Kit
The NATO Handle Kit (Cheese, 70mm) is designed for quick release attaching and detaching on the camera without screws. Simply slide onto Safety NATO Rail and tighten down the thumbscrew. 70mm NATO Rail can attach to any two screw points up to 42mm center to center. Cheese grip with 19mm opening at rear. Arrays of 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 holes provides mounting points for additional accessories.

Universal Hot Shoe
Universal Hot Shoe attaches by an ARRI style accessory mount, 3/8-16 with locating pins adjacent. It can also attach by using an included 1/4-20 or 3/8-16 screw. Provides a standard shoe mount for attaching accessories. Works great with Universal Offset Bracket. This product is also commonly referred to as a cold shoe.

15mm Rod
15mm diameter iris rods used for mounting accessories like follow focus, matte box, lens support, servo motors and more.

Rod Clamp (15mm LW)
Rod Clamp (15mm LW) can attach to existing 15mm rods to provide 1/4-20 mounting points. It can also be turned over and bolted to cheeseplates, cages, battery plates and more. Extremely versatile, compact and lightweight.

Recorder Slide
Recorder Slide allows for attaching power plate on one side and on board recorder on the other. Hole patterns available for Ki Pro, Hyperdeck, Codex, Odyssey 7Q, pix240, V-Mount, Gold Mount, audio wireless receiver boxes and 1/4-20 threaded and pass through holes. L bracket also included for mounting recorders like the Atomos Shogun, Pix-E5 and Pix-E7. Dual rosette mounts and sliding capability allow for positioning in any direction. The base portion of the Recorder Slide has a slotted design that can attach to two 1/4-20 screw holes up to 36mm apart center to center. To mount to rods, add their Rod Clamp (15mm LW), Rod Clamp (15mm Studio) and Rod Clamp (19mm).
