Our DSLR Cage's minimalist design offers mounting points on the top and side, while keeping all essential camera controls on the right grip and left side easily visible and accessible. This design ensures that you can adjust settings quickly and efficiently, without compromising on the stability of your camera.

The cage comes with a versatile, reversible top handle that can be conveniently repositioned over the lens area when an XLR adapter is in use. This handle is equipped with a cold shoe mount and a 15mm tube clamp, making it compatible with our UVF Mount kits used with third-party electronic viewfinders. For added convenience, the handle can fold down for easy packing and can be reconfigured onto the left, vertical 15mm rod for a secondary grip.

Our DSLR Cage is designed with fold-out LCD screen cameras in mind, allowing for easy positioning. An included HDMI cable clamp can be mounted to the vertical rod to secure video cables and prevent port damage, ensuring the longevity of your equipment.

The bottom portion of the cage includes a Manfrotto quick release dovetail, compatible with a variety of Manfrotto tripod heads. The quick release functionality is user-friendly, working the same as existing Manfrotto plates. Simply turn the thumbscrew and depress the release pin to slide the plate backward out of the base.

The cage also features a built-in lens adapter support system, ideal for attaching to adapters with a 1/4"-20 on the bottom like our E-Mount To PL Mount Pro (1/4-20 Support Foot), MFT To PL Mount Pro (1/4-20 Support Foot), and many Metabones products. For those desiring lightweight 15mm support, the cage can be combined with our Unified DSLR 15mm Baseplate to provide pass-through rod support (sold separately).
