This specialized D-Box model is engineered to provide standardized remote start/stop capabilities, hot swap functionality, and a sophisticated power management system, ensuring that your Sony Venice camera operates at peak efficiency.The D-Box's main unit is meticulously crafted to attach securely to the back of the AXS-R7 recorder or directly to the camera's V-Mount plate. Its power strip component mounts effortlessly to the camera's top right side, utilizing a 3pin Fischer connection and the tape hook threaded hole for a stable and reliable fit. The connectors on the D-Box Power Strip are thoughtfully contoured to complement the camera's profile, ensuring a perfect match and eliminating any potential cable interference.This module is designed to communicate flawlessly with the Sony Venice camera, allowing the use of any ARRI standard start/stop trigger via the 3pin Fischer port, including the ARRI UMC-4 and WCU-4 units. The D-Box's DC input mirrors the camera's 4pin XLR connector, providing versatile power options from an AC Power Supply, an External Power Plate, or a VCLX block battery. This enables continuous power to both the camera and accessories during battery swaps, with the system prioritizing DC input to preserve the onboard battery's charge.Innovatively replacing physical fuses, the D-Box features a processor-controlled amp limit, adjustable to 3.8, 5.8, or 9 amps via a slide switch on the operator's side. This smart design ensures that if the current limit is exceeded, only the accessory outputs are disabled, allowing the camera to continue operating without interruption.
