The cage's minimalist design ensures unobstructed access to your camera's vital controls on the right grip and left side, while providing ample mounting points on the top and side. This allows for a seamless workflow and easy adjustments on the go.

Our Unified DSLR Cage includes a reversible top handle, which can be conveniently repositioned over the lens area when an XLR adapter is in use. The handle is equipped with a cold shoe mount and a 15mm tube clamp, perfect for mounting any UVF Mount kits used with third-party electronic viewfinders. For added convenience, the handle can fold down for easy packing and can be reconfigured onto the left, vertical 15mm rod for a secondary grip.

Cameras with fold-out LCD screens can be positioned easily within the cage, and an included HDMI cable clamp can be mounted to the vertical rod to secure video cables and prevent port damage.

The bottom portion of the cage features a Manfrotto quick-release dovetail, compatible with a variety of Manfrotto tripod heads. This quick-release functionality operates the same as existing Manfrotto plates, allowing for easy and quick adjustments.

The cage also includes a built-in lens adapter support system, ideal for attaching adapters with a 1/4"-20 on the bottom. This feature is compatible with our E-Mount To PL Mount Pro (1/4-20 Support Foot), MFT To PL Mount Pro (1/4-20 Support Foot), and many Metabones products.

For those seeking lightweight 15mm support, the cage can be combined with our Unified DSLR 15mm Baseplate to provide pass-through rod support (sold separately).
