Wooden Camera Elite Accessory System for RED KOMODO-X Cinema Camera

Take your compact camera setup to the next level by adding the Elite Accessory System for RED KOMODO-X. This top-tier system expands the reach of KOMODO-X for use in small and large production environments. This setup includes all the components users need to have a cinema-ready build right out of the box, including an ARCA Baseplate and ARCA Riser as well as a Full Cage System and Ultra Handle System.

Even though this system comes with everything you need to get rolling on a big set, the design itself was made to build upon with additional accessories for greater control of your shooting environment.

- ARCA Base Plate -
The ARCA Base Plate was designed for dual 15mm LW rods and allows for maintaining optimal lens height for studio-style builds. This Base Plate comes with a quick-release lever to be used with the ARCA Riser when lightweight builds are necessary. This Base Plate includes a Bridge Plate Dovetail for use with either 15mm or 19mm Bridge Plates and tripod plates.

Our ARCA system allows quick adjustments from a studio build to a Steadicam or Handheld build in seconds.

- ARCA Riser -
The ARCA Riser incorporates an anti-twist block design built into the bottom of the camera. The Riser was intended for use with the ARCA Baseplate, allowing users to transition to a lightweight rig when rods and lens support are no longer needed. The design prevents any movement on the Riser itself providing the user with a safe and secure connection. Safety features prevent the camera from sliding off the baseplate.

The ARCA Riser plate keeps the camera at its optimal lens height while offering mounting points along the base of the system as well as Lens Support mounts to prevent mount shift on Cine-style lenses.

- Side Rails -
Add 3/18"-16 and 1/4"-20 mounting points on the sides of your build by attaching these sleek, lightweight Side Rails. These rails give users the flexibility to mount accessories like Bolt-On Rods for lens motors and 25mm Bolt-On Rosettes on either side of the camera.

Can be used as a stand-alone accessory or in addition to the Rear Cage and Top Cheese Plate to give users a complete Cage System, these side rails were made to give KOMODO and KOMODO-X users much-needed real estate for adding accessories.

The side rails are designed to be compatible with the Adapter Support Brackets for RED's KOMODO RF to PL lens mount with their forward facing M4 holes.

For KOMODO: Left side Rail does cover up the audio ports Microphone and Headphones.

- Top Cheese Plate -
The Top Cheese Plate securely mounts to the KOMODO or KOMODO-X using two 1/4"-20 screws with anti-twist pins and adds seven 1/4"-20, anti-twist mounting points. The plate connects directly to the top of the camera, allowing the contact pins to pass Run/Stop connection through the plate.

This Top Plate can be used in tandem with the Ultra Handle Upright for RED DSMC3 as well as the Rigging Top Plate.

- Rear Cage System -
Utilizing the tie-in points at the top end of the camera's body, this Rear Cage System provides much-needed mounting points on the rear side of the camera. The cage allows users to tie into other components like the side rails, adding stability to the entire rig. A built-in Rail System utilizes Accessory Rails to further add a quick-release function to compatible accessories like Accessory Plates or the B-Box for (KOMODO, KOMODO-X, V-RAPTOR).

This Rear Cage System is also compatible with other accessories like the Rigging Top Plate.

- Ultra Handle System -
The Ultra Handle System is a modular, integrated system designed to adapt to any shooting style and camera build by adding or removing handle extensions as needed.

This system comes with a riser allowing the contacts on the camera to pass a 3-pin connector with trigger ability through the handle, thereby allowing third-party options to start and stop the camera roll. Also included in the system is a 1/4"-20 Support Bracket for added stability, a non-slip 4" Handle with durable Bocote hardwood inserts for comfort. The Handle has two pass-through holes for accessing the mounting bracket with the Hex Wrench while the handle is attached.

It also includes two 3" Handle extensions, a 1" Extension, a Right Angle Extension with Bocote hardwood insert, and a Hex Wrench. Lastly, this full system includes 24 color rings (six each in red, blue, green, and yellow) to place between components.

- Upright Ultra Handle -
The Ultra Handle Upright for the RED system has the appropriate 1/4"-20 spacing for use with KOMODO-X, KOMODO and V-RAPTOR cameras. This Upright includes pogo pins for the 3-pin connector that allows for Run/Stop trigger function. The design also includes six 3/8"-16, anti-twist pin inserts and dual front-facing 1/4"-20 screw holes.

This Upright is also compatible with the DSMC3 RED Touch 7.0" Monitor's RMI connection.

- Ultra Handle Extension -
These lightweight, simple, non-slip Extensions come in 4", 3", 1" and Right Angle options. Each extension includes a durable Bocote hardwood insert for comfort and two pass-through holes for accessing the mounting bracket with the Hex Wrench while the handle is attached (Hex Wrench sold separately). All variations add multiple 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 tapped holes with anti-twist pin slots, and include one 3/8"-16 bolt, and two 3mm location pins. These extensions integrate seamlessly with other Ultra Handle products and are compatible with all Wooden Camera, ARRI, and third-party accessories.

- Ultra Handle Support Bracket (1/4"-20) -
The Ultra Handle Support Bracket is a lightweight, yet sturdy bracket designed to stabilize longer handle configurations and offset any flexing. This bracket mounts to the Ultra Handle using either the 1/4"-20 mounting option or the 3/8"-16 option. This works on systems with threaded hole patterns that are on 1" centers.

- Ultra Handle Color Rings -
24 color rings (six each in red, blue, green, and yellow) to place between components. Use to customize your setup and/or instantly identify A camera from B, C, and D cameras.

- Ultra Handle Support Bracket -
The Ultra Handle Support Bracket helps stabilize longer handle configurations to prevent flexing while handle extensions are added to the camera system. When using the Ultra Handle System with the Rear Cage System and the DSMC3 RED Touch 7.0" Monitor, the RMI attachment is required for maintaining height consistency.

- T Handle Hex Wrench (3/16") -
3/16" T Handle Hex Wrench features a high-quality alloy steel construction. Heat treated for optimum strength and ductility, the 3/16" T Handle Hex Wrench is finished to resist rust. Cushion grip features a vinyl surface for extra comfort.

- 25mm Bolt-On Rosette -
The Bolt-On Rosettes give users the ability to mount Rosette Handle Grips anywhere on their build. These rosettes have locking pins to prevent twisting and were designed with tool pass-through for secure mounting. The Bolt-On Rosettes come in either 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 options.
