Shopper : I need a hard drive to use on mac and pc?ANDREW R : From the product features: "Formatted HFS+ journaled: Works out of the box, with your Mac OS X 10.6.5 or later system. Can easily be reformatted to work with Windows operating systems" For use on both systems the drive would need to be formatted to use FAT. NTFS formatting can be read by Mac OS X, but not written to. Windows does not read HFS+ formatted partitions.
